I’ve grown up around animals and have been caring for pets for over 20 years. My family and friends have always trusted me to walk and care for their pets while they’re away. I had my own cat for many years, and I’ve had my own dogs for the past nine years—a Havanese named Harry and a Shih Tzu named Charlie. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I treat every pet in my care like they’re part of my own family and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. 🐾

Janine was wonderful with Dixie and made him feel very comfortable. She kept me updated regularly with pictures and videos throughout his stay, and was incredible accommodating with our last minute schedule changes. Her kids were also so sweet and loved Dixie. Janine is an awesome pet parent and mother! I’m amazed at how she keeps them all happy. She’s caring and always manages to have time for them all! You can tell how much Charlie and Harry (her furbabies) love her by how they listen to her and always want to be by her side. Any pet would be lucky to have her care for them!

Schedule
I’m a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available and give the pets in my care plenty of attention throughout the day. I have plenty of time to dedicate to walks, playtime, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and loved while they’re with me. 🐾

Safety, trust & environment
I have a mostly private, fenced-in yard with a designated area for dogs to go potty. My two friendly, happy dogs are always excited to have company and can keep your pup company if they’re comfortable around other dogs. I’m also happy to crate your dog if needed or preferred. My own dogs are crate-trained and sleep in their own comfortable room in our cool, finished basement at night. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they’re in my care.

A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to follow their normal routine and personality. Depending on what they enjoy, we can play in the fenced-in yard, play fetch, go for walks around the neighborhood, and enjoy plenty of playtime and snuggles. My goal is for every pet to feel comfortable, happy, and loved while they’re in my care. 🐾

- I like to know as much as possible about your pet’s normal routine, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, where they sleep, and whether they are comfortable being crated. I also like to know how they do when left alone, what makes them excited or happy, and anything that makes them nervous or uncomfortable. The more I know about their routine and personality, the better I can help them feel comfortable and at home while they’re in my care. 🐾
