I am a recently retired RN who values safety and a nurturing environment for everyone including our furry friends. I’ve been looking after my own pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters since I was a child. I love animals! For the past 12 years I’ve consistently provided pet care of dogs and cats for family members as well. Unfortunately, my German Shepherd of 14 years recently passed away and I currently do not have any pets of my own. I’m well acquainted with senior care and administration of oral and topical medication. I am willing to learn if your dog has any special needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I will make sure that your pet has fresh water and treats if requested and allowed. If you have a fenced yard I can play fetch with ball or frisbee. They will be taken for a walk on a lease in your neighborhood. I will abide by all your rules and preferences.

Janina was able to take my 1+ year pup out for her first time while we were away for the night.
Janina is very patient and really cares about my dog, Lyndsey. She spent time trying to learn more about Lyndsey. The first walk went very well.
Janina did a great job with Harper! It gave us great peace of mind that we could leave for the day and know that Harper would be well cared for while we were gone. I was able to see photos of Harper playing with her toys and on her walk. We will definitely use Janina again!!
Janina took GREAT care of my senior golden retriever in her home. He has specific needs (special diet, medications, short walks, minimal steps) and she handled them all. My dog was so well-cared for. I would recommend to anyone who needs regular or occasional care for their dog.
Janina is someone I would trust over and over again with my pets. I have two dogs and she’s watched both of them for years through all ages of their life. My one dog has medical issues and a special diet and I always felt relief knowing my dogs were in good safe care when I would have to travel for work and vacations because they could be complicated but they were always taken care of with tons of love. She’s the only person I’ve trusted with both of my dogs over the last 12 years.

Schedule
I am currently available 7 days a week for drop in visits and dog walking. Regretfully I am not able to do overnights at this time.
