Information Janiece J. would like to know about your pet

We would only consider dogs that are friendly and non threatening with other dogs. Size matters here! Biting and nipping is scary for both the human and the dog, but with love and care and trust that can be dissuaded. History of biting must be disclosed. Any medical conditions, meds, and local vet with permission to take your baby to the vet must be okayed. You MUST bring your own food, medications, toys, blanket or bed, and an unwashed piece of clothing. This is essential for anti-anxiety for your pet. While we provide beds, blankets, and toys, they’re unknown. Your dog will miss you. Destruction of any property is your financial responsibility. Accidents happen. Dogs that are not house trained in other people’s homes, mark territory inside the house, do not understand the meaning of “No”, “Sit” or ”Lie Down/Down” or “out”, or your lingo for them, from anyone other than you will not be a good fit here. We are not a dog training facility.

A typical day

First things first we need to play and pee and poo! All of us! So outside is the very first thing we do on our day and then breakfast for sure. The yard is filled with adventure. We have plenty of property to run around in and there are plenty of dogs to bark at on their walks to bark at. There is a pool for the swimmers, a hose for the water biters, lizards to chase and moles to dig for. Balls are tossed, toys are squeaked, brush outs given and lots of hugs and kisses. If your dog decides to finally rest, there are couches, dog beds and a king size bed to sleep on. I have dog bowls, water inside and out, a doggie door, dog food, snacks, and leashes for emergencies or if they're allowed for a ride-a-log in the car! Sleepovers are with me in the bed with a dog bed on the bed if needed, above and under covers, on top of all the pillows, watching episodes of Ted Lasso. Roy Kent is their favorite.

Welcome to the family!

Pet care experience

Our play dates always include lots of scratchies, kisses, snackies, and pictures and videos of it all. We have a senior dog and a dog friendly kitty. We have a doggie door and a very large property for them to run and poop and play and bark at all the other dogs walking by. Everyone is always allowed on all the couches, in laps, and beds whether human beds or doggie beds. So if you’re looking for love and adventure for your baby, we are excited to welcome new friends and family. I have a teenager who not only loves animals but is volunteering for the FFA program at school to take care of farm animals. I have never been without a dog or two my whole life. It’s just who we are. Our property warrants a lot of dogs as it has diverse terrain and our neighborhood has lots of dog walkers. There’s plenty to get excited about here! Woof!

Janiece was great with my dog Freddie and was very welcoming to him! She has a great yard for the dogs to play in and stated the importance of keeping an eye on the different personalities to avoid any conflicts. My dog came home tired and happy, as if he'd returned from a sleepaway camp situation where he had a lot of fun, made new friends and was well taken care of!

My rescue Charlie is by my side wherever I go and I get a bit nervous when I leave her with anyone else. However, Janiece made Charlie feel right at home and you can tell she is truly a dog lover. Charlie was free to roam her home and yard and this was important for my dog to feel comfortable. I highly recommend Janiece.

Janiece was so patient with my cat, Toffee. It was Toffee’s first boarding experience ever and she handled it with such grace. I received constant updates as she got acclimated to the space and settled in. Even when my cat was having trouble opening up to her, Janiece continued to show her kindness and effort. I can’t imagine a better first boarding experience for the both of us!

JJ was fantastic! I have 3 little rescues who are very weary of strangers and they loved her instantly. She sent us so many photos and videos and they had a blast! She will be my go to from now on! Thank you so much JJ for giving them a safe environment to play in, have fun and be loved 💝💝
