Hi! I’m a caring, reliable, and communicative petsitter and UX designer by day. Caring for animals and seeing them happy brings me so much joy! I’m committed to always finding ways to make both you and your loved companion have a stellar experience :) I love animals and have cared for them most of my life and have volunteered in many animal shelters and cared for dogs, cats, horses, and barn animals for years. I miss living with furry companions and would love to spend quality time with yours! I know leaving your family member with a stranger can be daunting - I provide plenty of updates to help you feel at ease knowing your companion is in good hands and having a great walk or play session :) I truly love caring for animals and take pride in being highly attentive, communicative, friendly, and adaptive to your pet’s needs. I am so grateful Janie was willing to look after my dog after an emergency! I was looking for a sitter who would be willing to bring my dog to an emergency vet in the unlikely event that he showed symptoms that would need immediate medical attention, and Janie was gracious enough to take on the duty. She is very communicative and sent updates throughout the day. My dog is so happy and comfortable in her care!

Schedule
I work from home Mondays and Fridays which adds flexibility to my schedule and lets me plan around your pet’s needs :) On the weekends, I’m able to plan for a longer trip, hike, or adventure with your pup or spend more quality time with your cat.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a 750sq ft apartment, am an attentive caretaker, and will always leash your dog on a walk, run, or hike. I’m able to crate your dog if needed, and will always look for ways to provide a safe and comfortable environment for both you and your companion. I’ll send plenty of updates and pictures throughout the day to meet your preference.
A typical day
I love to adapt to your pup’s needs and will provide indoor or outdoor activities to best suit their personality and stage in life. For high energy dogs, I love to play a healthy variety of fetch, tug of war, hide and seek, sniff and find challenges, chase/tag, and agility activities. For more chill or senior dogs, I like to play relaxing music or dog TV, belly rubs, provide a lick mat, chew toys, and variety of treats.
