I am currently working in the Short Pump area as a vet assistant and am about to start taking online classes to get my vet technician license! I am off Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and get an hour break when I do work which is great. I usually take my younger, dog friendly pups to the dog park or on a walk at Belle Island so they can get their energy out! I tend to spend as much time with ur fur babies at home just so I can be there to build a relationship with them and they're able to trust me too while I give the best care possible :)

I know when I am on a schedule, the easier life tends to run for me! I know everyone doesn't work that way which is why I am very versatile and flexible. I love playtime, therefore I make sure daily exercise or stimulation is a part of the routine at least twice a day, even if its just laying outside in the sun for the seniors or playing with a feathered toy for the kitties! Usually pet parents like to have me feed twice a day, so I eat when they do so it works for both of us, lol. I have a lot of free time so I have a lot of attention and love to give to your pets so no matter what schedule you have laid out for us, it will be followed!

Playtime: Any special toys or treats that are your pets favorites? Any special things you all do together that your pet enjoys (walking/dog parks/pup cup rides)? Any tricks they like to do or any that you are working on/would like continued to be worked on while away? 4. Schedule & Housing Info: Any set schedule your pet is on (food & amount/water/walks/potty time/litter box instructions)? Anything about the house I should know (alarms/codes/noises/trash pickup/emergency numbers)?
A typical day
I love to be outside so if it is not raining or super hot and your pet loves to go outside then that's where we will likely be! I love cat toys as well and keeping them entertained is a joy for me so feather leads have been my best friend, lol =)

I LOVE animals! I grew up around many different pets in our family, including dogs, cats, fat tailed geckos, guinea pigs, ferrets and fish :) I'm a veterinary assistant working towards getting my technician license. I work at a vet clinic during the week but have weds, sat and sundays off with a long break during the afternoon which is great for running to get a quick potty break and lunch in with the fur babies :) I've been an assistant for several years, some of which included working overnights in an emergency vet clinic which I really enjoyed. The variety of animals that we would see ranged from hedgehogs to goats and baby deer! Although I loved every minute of it, I am grateful to have slowed down when I moved to the Richmond area almost 3 years ago. I have pet sat for MANY years and have experience giving all kinds of medication including shots and fluids as well as monitoring several different issues from skin/ears/eyes/ to heart/vertigo/addisons/diabetes, ect... and also have experience with puppies, seniors and special needs animals too! I am very respectful of others homes and am a very clean person! You won't even know I've been there :) Since I know how hard it is to be away from your fur babies, I make sure to give them THE UTMOST love and attention they deserve (maybe almost annoyingly so to them lol)! Nothing less than 5 Wag service for all your amazing and purrrrfect pets! =)

Janie was amazing with Slevin! She took him on many adventures and kept us updated the entire stay. We will definitely be using her in the future.
We were out of the country for almost three weeks and needed a tip-top sitter, and Janie filled the bill perfectly! She totally connected with Bebe, aka the Noopster, and also took care of the house while we were away, and even worked with the yard people, housesitter and the person covering my business flawlessly. But her real passion is animals, and so you can leave you pet in her care with no worries. Highly recommend Janie!
Janie went above and beyond! She watched my two high maintenance Frenchies and kept them happy. She was great with communication and updates. She also came by for a meet and greet before our vacation. I hesitate selfishly to highly recommend her in the case she gets so booked and might not be available when we need her next time!! She is the best. She gave our older dog medication daily and was also mindful of the heat when taking the dogs out and spent lots of time making sure they got snuggled and didn't miss us too badly. The house was also kept very clean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 !!
My dogs LOVE Janie and it’s very obvious that Janie adores all dogs and cats! She has kept my two dogs numerous times and I’ve never had a single concern. She will also send pics if you request them! 😊 Since she also has some training as a vet assistant, I feel comfortable leaving them with her for long vacations.
