Cuddle Specialist
I am hands-on and tailor my care to each family/pets needs. I have cared for two senior pets, puppies & kittens. I like all animals too; not just the furry ones. I work from home and have four of my own pets. I make my dogs' food from scratch; one has medical needs. I am with my furkids all day everyday. They get lots of attention and I would do the same for any other pet that I watch. In addition, I am certified in pet First Aid and CPR. I have a fenced in yard as well as a gate that separates the yard in half, should I need to do that for any pet. I have a dog door with full access to the outside and inside is a temp controlled room with dog beds. But typically I would just let the animals wander around as they please.

We feel very lucky to have found Janie on Rover. Janie recently watched our 2 dogs for 8 days, and I have to say we never had a single worry about them. Janie is such an intuitive animal person; we know that she would do anything to make them feel comfortable and safe. Before we met Janie, we sometimes avoided travel or did all we could to reduce the time away; we no longer feel that way and have full confidence that she will enjoy time with our dogs, who love being with her. We would 100% recommend Janie to anyone looking for an exceptional dog sitter.

Janie was absolutely awesome! She came and met our pups and cat before hand for a meet and great and was so kind and sweet to our animals they loved her right away. Janie’s communication was perfect and she kept us up to date on what and how they were doing and sent us a bunch of photos. We will for sure be reaching out to her again next time we need a pet sitter!

Schedule
Being remote gives me the ability to provide almost round-the-clock attention. I can do walks as often as needed and pets are free to roam in and out of the house as they please.

My yard is fenced in and I also have a number of secure, private, quiet rooms in case your pet needs a little down time and space. In a client's home, I provide the same care the owners do in their absence.
Pets
A typical day
I will participate in any activity that pet parents want. I can do walks, trips to the park, dog-parks, frisbee/ball throwing, swimming...just to name a few. I have a vehicle large enough to transport several pets at a time. I love doing walks on the local trails (Lair of the Bear for example).
