Janie was great with my mini schnauzer, Pete, as always! Very communicative and took extra special care over the 4th of July holiday with lots of fireworks and anxiety.

Janie was great with my mini schnauzer. Very communicative, proactively sent lots of pictures, and ensured he was as comfortable as possible when he was scared of some pretty intense Texas thunderstorms. Would book again (& actually have already!)

Schedule
I work a short evening shift about 3 days a week (3-7pm) at a local boarding facility so I’m home most of the day. My schedule allows me to be home throughout most of the day and spend time with the pups.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide quality care in my home by providing plenty of stimulating activities for the pups in my care. I have comfortable kennels, beds, toys all over my house. They even have their own doggy bedroom. I require that all pups be crate trained for safety reasons. I only crate during meals, rest time, and if I have to work. Each crate is sanitized after each use and comes with a bed, blanket, ceramic food bowl, and attached water bottle with a toy for extra comfort. I now have cameras set up to still have an eye on them when I have to be away but I am home most of the time. My style of care suits socialized dogs the best, or if you’re looking for socialization. We have a lot of play time and spend a lot of time together as a pack. My dogs love to socialize and have friends to play with. (It’s flea and tick season please make sure your pets are flea free. My dogs are all on preventatives.)

A typical day
I board full time so I spend a lot of time planning fun activities. I have a doggy pool, bubble machine, sniff mats, ball pit, water mats, puzzles, and an enormous collection of toys. I also make frozen treats and snacks for them to enjoy (with your permission).

- I only accept dogs that get along with other dogs. It’s very important to me that we have a harmonious pet-sitting environment. My priority is to keep everyone happy and safe. *IF your pup just prefers to be alone then I do have a separate playroom for them with plenty of toys. I’m flexible with nervous/anxious/senior dogs. I also require pets to be vaccinated with all core vaccines. Again, my priority is keeping everyone safe. Other important things are: allergies, reactivity to toys/food, and whether they are potty trained or not. I prefer fully potty trained dogs. I want to provide the best possible care and service so please be open and communicate all of your dogs needs to make sure we’re a good fit. Also if your dog ruins any property during his or her stay I do ask that you’re courteous and pay for the damages. It’s rare but it does happen sometimes no matter how diligent I am. We have a lot of fun and I have a lot of amazing customers! Thank you for letting me care for your little ones.
