I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in the comfort of their own home and maintain their normal routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I provide plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment while also respecting each pet’s individual personality and comfort level. I currently provide care in my clients’ homes rather than my own, as I want to ensure every pet is in the environment where they feel safest and most relaxed. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

It’s also helpful to know about any fears, triggers, behavioral quirks, or commands they respond to, as well as emergency contact and veterinarian information. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience for your pet while you’re away.

Every pet is different, so I tailor activities to their personality, age, and energy level. For dogs, that could mean walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, sniffing adventures, or simply spending quality time together. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with their favorite toys, enrichment activities, and giving them affection when they want it. My goal is to keep pets mentally and physically engaged while maintaining the routine they’re most comfortable with.

While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’ve spent years caring for dogs through family, friends, and my time helping at a veterinary clinic. During that time, I gained hands-on experience handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments, assisting with their care, and accompanying them to obedience training classes. I understand the importance of patience, positive reinforcement, and maintaining a safe, structured routine. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with good company, I’ll provide dependable, loving care and treat them like they’re part of my own family.
