Hello, I’m Janice! I’ve always loved animals and originally joined Rover to care for dogs. Since then, my husband and I adopted our own cat, Chia, and I took a little break from Rover to focus on being a new cat parent and enjoying time with her. Now, I’d love to get back to caring for other people’s pets! Whether your pet needs a drop-in visit, some playtime and attention, a walk, or simply a little company while you’re away, I’m happy to help. I’ll treat every pet with patience, care, and plenty of attention, while taking the time to understand their individual personality and needs. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member!

Safety, trust & environment
I’m respectful of your home and will treat your space with the same care I would my own. I’ll follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet’s routine, feeding, medications, and other needs are taken care of as requested. I’m also attentive to doors, gates, and other potential safety concerns so you can feel confident your pet is safe and well cared for while you’re away. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel comfortable and secure. I’ll take the time to get to know their personality and preferences and give them the right balance of attention, play, and space.

Janice always takes great care of Milo while we are away. She and her boyfriend always showers him with such love and affection. She even went the extra mile and made a special trip to Target to pick up some treats for our dog. She and her boyfriend takes our dog on frequent walks and is regularly sending us updates and photos of Milo. We are so glad that we have found a second home for Milo with Janice while we are away.
Wonderful and considerate. Janice took care of our senior dog so that we could go get married. We received daily updates and she took great care with our doggo. Thank you Janice!
Janice did a great job with our Neo. Neo is a golden retriever who has a lot of energy. Janice took good care of him during the day, took him for multiple walks, played with him as well as kept us posted about how Neo is doing.
Janice and Joel are wonderful people and took care of Toby very well. Janice is very responsive and keeps up to date with everything. Janice treated my puppy as her own.
We had the most wonderful experience with Janice! She is so attentive and took wonderful care of our dog, Milo. She followed through on all of the directions and was so loving and affectionate towards him. She cared for him like one of her own taking him on frequent walks and even car rides. We'd get frequent updates on how Milo was doing. We are so glad to have found her and are looking forward to the next opportunity for Milo to stay with her.
Janice was wonderful with Oliver. She went above and beyond to make sure he was well taken care of and a happy pup!

Schedule
I work remotely with typical hours of 9–5, so I have some flexibility to pop over during the workday for a drop-in or check-in if needed. I’m also happy to visit before or after work during the week. Weekends are generally flexible, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs.
