My love for animals runs deep
I grew up with litters of German Shepherd puppies which sparked my lifelong love of animals. As adult, I raised and bred Labrador Retrievers. I now share my home with five cats, two Labs and six chickens. I'm also a proud grandparent to two wonderful grandchildren. Retired and living in Vermont.

I haven't had anyone that i felt comfortable with to care for my dogs in the past few years since my little one was diagnosed with diabetes. With our daughters wedding fast approaching in Sept. i knew i had to figure something out. We have 2 elderly dogs, but my little one Charlie has meds 4 times a day including 2 insulin shots with meals. This sight was suggested to me and i reached out to Janice who was very prompt responding. We set up a meet and greet and the pups took right to her (especially Charlie). We decided to do a trial run and have her come up and feed while we went out. We were thrilled with this experience. She texted to let us know it went well and even sent a photo. Their dinner dishes were washed when we got home and a note left on the counter. I am beyond relieved to have found someone so capable, pleasant, and understanding as to how important these pups are to us. I would highly recommend Janice, We are looking forward to a 2 night get away for our daughters wedding and not having to worry about if Jack and Charlie are being cared for.

Janice was so wonderful to work with. She is a very experienced pet sitter and she cares deeply about animals. She is an excellent communicator and stayed in touch with me and sent photos throughout our time away. She was really committed to making sure our dog was cared for and that we were able to have peace of mind while we were away. I really appreciate her care and am very glad we connected with her on Rover.
Janice is such a gem of a person. She was great with large, energetic, oddy. He loved her and she was so reliable and kind.
Janice was the best sitter ever and really understands dogs esp Rex a big puppy. She was very flexible and professional!
Can’t say enough good things about Janice. She went above and beyond taking care of our two cats. One was very needy and I received multiple pictures of her hugging my cat up on her shoulder. My other cat is very shy but Janice was able to get him to come downstairs, at least partway, most of the time. When it snowed, she had to shovel the path from the garage to the house. I highly recommend her.

Schedule
I'm recently retired and spending my time doing what I love most. Beling arond animals. I enjoy going on walks, playing and simply keeping pets company.
