I've had two dogs in succession in the last 23 years--one who I raised from a puppy. I am experienced in senior dog care and end of life care. I enjoy being with dogs and keeping them in their best health with good nutrition and lots of exercise.

Janice is so caring and always includes some form of exercise for our high energy dog! He always comes home happy.
I am a fellow Rover sitter and used Janice to watch our pups for an 8 day vacation. We will 100% utilize them again in the future. The pups were well taken care for and were very comfortable in their care. Janice was kind enough to worked with us to rebook our vacation after the Hurricane destroyed our resort in Jamaica. Janice kept up us to date and informed. Simply a great place to board your fur babies!

Janice. Was a wonderful caregiver for Levi. He is 13, blind and diabetic. He loved sniffing in her fenced in backyard, Janice kept me informed about Levi with pictures and notes i'm hoping she'll be able to take care of him again.

Schedule
I am a retired nurse along with my husband who is also retired. I usually prefer to have pets in my home. I am accustomed to walking dogs twice daily and am at home much of every day.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a house with a fenced in backyard. We currently have no pets of our own and our children are all grown. We often have our daughter over to the house and she may bring her dog over to visit. Our home atmosphere is relaxed and comfy. We allow pets on our furniture and beds.
A typical day
We can take the dog to the dog park or on a hike. I can play catch in the back yard. I can take the dog for walks and give them time to smell whatever they are interested in. With cats, I can play with a feather wand and small toys to encourage exercise.
