Safe, Loving and Happy farm
Training is at no extra charge when boarding in my home. My love for animals seems to be my weakness. I grew up parenting/caring for many different amazing animals-Dogs,Cats,Skunks,Pigs,Alligators,Birds,Horses,donkeys & sheep. I became a wildlife rehabilitator and New York State Falconer in 1995. I have solely managed a Bird Sanctuary for 5+ years caring for over 150 assorted on a daily basis. Aside from my seasonal 3rd shift work as a thoroughbred midwife, I currently own and manage Gotland sheep breeding on my farm. I am proud to say I have personally owned,cared for and loved- Huskies,Malamutes,English Bulldog,German Shepherds,Pekingese,Australian Cattle,Chocolate Lab,black labs,boxers and Golden Retrievers-. What I can offer is a safe and happy homestead environment on my farm located in the Hudson Valley. As well as compassion,loyalty, and the highest level of meticulous care in your home. Communication and honesty is very important to me, as it helps ensure a mutual passion and love for the animals in which I respectfully devote my time and care to. Janice is such a warm and loving person. My dog took to her immediately and it was clear she is an animal person. She prioritizes making sure that your pet feels safe and comfortable. It is such a relief to have someone like her taking care of my girl when I have to be away.

"Farm stay was the right call for our anxious pup" We were honestly nervous going into this — our maltipoo is not a social dog, gets overwhelmed easily, and is very attached to his routine (wee wee pads included). Janice got it. She didn't try to force him into anything, gave him space to adjust on his own terms, and the farm setting ended up being perfect for a dog that doesn't do well in busy environments. What impressed us most was that she clearly paid attention to the specific things we flagged upfront rather than just treating him like any other dog. He came home calm, which tells you everything. We're already planning to book again for our next trip. Highly recommend for owners of anxious or quirky small dogs who need a sitter that actually listens.
An extraordinary, magical, storybook place. We took our dog to Janice’s farm for a day because we had business in the area. But it’s worth a trip back as a destination unto itself.

Our farm which consists of 24+ acres provides a fully supervised on leash or fully supervised trained off leash parameter free range paradise to assist with emotional and physical growth, healing, exercise, hiking explorations, genuine love & affection & much more. We are currently working on getting it entirely fenced in and gated for the safety of all beautiful creatures who reside here and or visit us. All of our fur guests will be hand walked and or free off leash with complete human supervision throughout the day. PLEASE NOTE : —House sitting —by me in your home generally covers 12-15 hours of OVER NIGHT peace of mind,comfort & care of you fur family…example….8pm can run until 11am-12pm, 6pm can run until 9-11am, Anything past the 12-15 hour overnight stay will be calculated as an additional extended fee. (Prices may vary according to each families individual needs and times.) — Daytime hours -depending on my services needed, there may be an additional extended day fee. — Evening hours only with not stay over — are generally by the hour and pricing will be agreed prior to booking by pet parent and myself. Please discuss hours needed by me prior to my stay for complete understanding and proper care for your pets. **** ADDITIONALLY **** I can work 24 hour / consecutive shifts in your home by request and availability. ………If you have any questions at all please feel free to ask me…..
