I am a home owner that provides a 'cozy' and healthy environment. I have a large backyard and live in a nice area in Kennebunkport. I will always have your dog on a long leash to allow him/her to roam safely with me tagging along. I am someone who is very structured and believe that providing consistency & structure to a dog is very important. I do not believe in striking or hitting any animal no matter the reason. I will treat your dog with care like it is my own.

Information Janice A. would like to know about your pet
I prefer to setup a Meet & Greet to meet you and your dog to first ensure a 'good fit' and I am willing to do this over the phone or in person. I will not accept any aggressive dog. If I determine your dog is a 'good fit' for me, I would gather specific feeding times, potty times, what your dog enjoys doing, if it is crate trained (or not) or if your dog is known to have separation anxiety, medications, etc. I would also want to know your specific emergency contact and Veterinarian in the event of an unforeseen emergency.
A typical day
I enjoy play time with your dog such as ball toss, frisbee, rubber & squeaky toys, walking, and taking dogs for a ride. I also love to just sit/cuddle with your dog who may need more one-on-one time. I will also ensure your dog gets proper rest / relaxation time as needed. Your dog will be able to roam around my primary floor of the house at leisure. If your dog is not accustomed to a crate, I will not use it.

I recently adopted a Cockapoo named Lucy. She is a total sweetheart and loves people and other dogs. I previously owned my own Boxer, Ava, for 9 years. She passed away 2 years ago and so I started working for Rover to share my love, compassion and support to dog owners seeking companionship and enrichment activity for their dog. I am available to watch your dog during the week or weekends. Need a break from your dog so you can enjoy “me” time or have a nice weekend? Then reach out and contact me!

Janice is lovely and an amazing sitter. She was very accommodating and asked lots of questions to make sure our Steve would be well looked after. Steve clearly had a good time hanging out with Janice and her dog, he didn’t seem to want to leave :) Will definitely book again.
Janice was great! Sent so many pictures and really treated our dog like he was one of her own!
Janice did a wonderful job with our toy goldendoodle Winnie. Winnie has some special food needs and Janice had no problem with helping her to eat her meals. Janice’s dog Lucy loved having a playmate and they got along very well. We had lots of communication and pictures while Winnie was there. Very pleased with the care Winnie received during her stay! We will be back!
Janice is patient and understands dogs. She sends great pictures and Cooper and Lucy got along great.
