I recently adopted a Cockapoo named Lucy. She is a total sweetheart and loves people and other dogs. I previously owned my own Boxer, Ava, for 9 years. She passed away 2 years ago and so I started working for Rover to share my love, compassion and support to dog owners seeking companionship and enrichment activity for their dog. Janice is lovely and an amazing sitter. She was very accommodating and asked lots of questions to make sure our Steve would be well looked after. Steve clearly had a good time hanging out with Janice and her dog, he didn’t seem to want to leave :) Will definitely book again.
Janice was great! Sent so many pictures and really treated our dog like he was one of her own!
Janice did a wonderful job with our toy goldendoodle Winnie. Winnie has some special food needs and Janice had no problem with helping her to eat her meals. Janice’s dog Lucy loved having a playmate and they got along very well. We had lots of communication and pictures while Winnie was there. Very pleased with the care Winnie received during her stay! We will be back!

Daisy had a wonderful stay with Janice. As soon as I met Janice I knew they were a good match! When someone cuddles and plays with your dog, like Janice does, it warms your heart. She communicated regularly with me and sent lots of pictures. The peace of mind I had, while Daisy was there, was invaluable.

Schedule
I am a huge animal lover and therefore I am available to assist with daily activities (feeding, medications, potty time) and enrichment (walk & play time) including overnight boarding.

I am a home owner that provides a 'cozy' and healthy environment. I have a large backyard and live in a nice area in Kennebunkport. I will always have your dog on a long leash to allow him/her to roam safely with me tagging along. I am someone who is very structured and believe that providing consistency & structure to a dog is very important. I do not believe in striking or hitting any animal no matter the reason. I will treat your dog with care like it is my own.
Pets
A typical day
I enjoy play time with your dog such as ball toss, frisbee, rubber & squeaky toys, walking, and taking dogs for a ride. I also love to just sit/cuddle with your dog who may need more one-on-one time. I will also ensure your dog gets proper rest / relaxation time as needed. Your dog will be able to roam around my primary floor of the house at leisure. If your dog is not accustomed to a crate, I will not use it.
