I am a huge animal lover and therefore I am available to assist with daily activities (feeding, medications, potty time) and enrichment (walk & play time) including overnight boarding. I will accept 2 dogs at the same time if they are from the same family (additional service rate would apply).

I am a home owner that provides a 'cozy' and healthy environment. I have a large backyard and live in a nice area in Kennebunkport. I will always have your dog on a long leash to allow him/her to roam safely with me tagging along. I am someone who is very structured and believe that providing consistency & structure to a dog is very important. I do not believe in striking or hitting any animal no matter the reason. I will treat your dog with care like it is my own.

I prefer to setup a Meet & Greet to meet you and your dog to first ensure a 'good fit' and I am willing to do this over the phone or in person. I will not accept any aggressive dog. If I determine your dog is a 'good fit' for me, I would gather specific feeding times, potty times, what your dog enjoys doing, if it is crate trained (or not) or if your dog is known to have separation anxiety, medications, etc. I would also want to know your specific emergency contact and Veterinarian in the event of an unforeseen emergency.
A typical day
I enjoy play time with your dog such as ball toss, frisbee, rubber & squeaky toys, walking, and taking dogs for a ride. I also love to just sit/cuddle with your dog who may need more one-on-one time. I will also ensure your dog gets proper rest / relaxation time as needed. Your dog will be able to roam around my primary floor of the house at leisure. If your dog is not accustomed to a crate, I will not use it.

I recently adopted a Cockapoo named Lucy. She is a total sweetheart and loves people and other dogs. I previously owned my own Boxer, Ava, for 9 years. She passed away 2 years ago and so I started working for Rover to share my love, compassion and support to dog owners seeking companionship and enrichment activity for their dog. Daisy had a wonderful stay with Janice. As soon as I met Janice I knew they were a good match! When someone cuddles and plays with your dog, like Janice does, it warms your heart. She communicated regularly with me and sent lots of pictures. The peace of mind I had, while Daisy was there, was invaluable.
Janice was a delight. Very easy to work with and sent photos to calm any fears we had.
Janice was a very good communicator and provided me with many updates - including pictures - as she watched my pup. I was very comfortable with her caring for my pup. I would employ her again for sure!
