We let the dogs have free roam of the house but we do have crates and gates to use as needed. We have a fenced in yard which has been beagle tested, and will watch the dogs while they’re outside.

Information Janette & Charles S. would like to know about your pet
Dogs staying at our home: - Are they cat, dog & baby friendly? - Can they go for a walk? Tell us what to watch out for (pulls, chases squirrels, barks/lunges at other dogs, able to slip harness/collar, etc). - What commands do they know? - Are they crate-trained? - Any dietary restrictions / allergies? Drop-in visits: - Provide us with a 2-3 hour window and we will provide service within that time frame. - How do we gain access to your home? - Where are things located? (Food, treats, litter box, toys, towel for dirty paws, leash, etc.) - Where does your cat hide and is it okay for us to go looking around your house for him/her? - What services would you like us to provide during our visit? (Walking, feeding, scooping litter box, playing, brushing, cuddling, etc.)
A typical day
For dogs staying with us: Dogs have access to our 5-foot fenced-in backyard for most of the day, where they can sniff all the scents, sunbathe, do zoomies, and play. Because of the new baby, we don’t always get to take the pack for a walk, but when time allows, we like to go for a long walk around our Edison Park/Park Ridge neighborhood. Our dog, Bella, loves to sniff, and is the pack navigator. One of us is usually home with the dogs, but when we need to go out, our guests will get special chew treats or peanut butter licki mats to ease the separation.

Pet care experience
Welcome to Baroo & Mew Pet Care in Edison Park! We are a family of 2 adults, 1 child, 1 dog, and 1 cat. With previous experience pet sitting for family & friends, we started caring for pet professionally in2018. We love our extended fur family and look forward to meeting you and your fur baby. BOARDING NOTE: Please note our weight restriction of 40lbs, due to the fact we have a small child. At busy times (Spring break, Holidays), we may have up to 5 dogs staying with us, but during non peak times your pet may be the only one in our care.
Reviews

Jeanette took great care of my dog. She was communicative and took great photos. I knew my dog was better off with her than boarded somewhere.

Janette has been great walking my two dogs. She’s great with them and they love her!

First time working with them and they were great! We felt so comfortable leaving our two French bulldogs with Janette and family. Easy to communicate with and they sent us videos and pics every day! Will definitely book again!

As always, Janette and Charles were easy to communicate with and took great care of our cat! Marcy loves when she gets to see her friends!
