Hi there! I’m currently the Development and Outreach Manager at Pet Friendly Services of Indiana, where I get to help pets and their people across the state every day by providing accessible and affordable spay/neuter. I previously served as the Executive Director of our local animal shelter, and before that I worked for 5 years at a high-volume spay/neuter veterinary clinic in Indianapolis. Altogether, I bring over 15 years of animal welfare experience. I hold a degree in Medical Anthropology from DePauw University, but my true passion has always been animals. I’d love the opportunity to care for yours! I can stop by your home to walk your dog, play with your pets, or provide drop-in care while you’re at work or away on vacation. While I’m not able to provide overnight stays, I’m happy to visit several times a day—including before bedtime—to make sure your pets are comfortable and your home is looked after. I have extensive experience handling dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m also skilled in administering medications and managing a wide variety of pet care needs. At home, I’m a busy mom to four dogs, two cats, and three children—so you can trust that I understand how important it is to keep your pets happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away. I am also pet CPR/first aid certified.
