I’ve been taking care of dogs since childhood, my own plus dog sitting for family. I work from home and currently have no pets of my own, so I will be able to give your fur baby lots of love and attention. I love and can care for dogs of all ages, but Seniors hold a special place in my heart. My 15-year-old Yorkie passed away a few years ago, and I cared for her until the end. I also have two seniors in the family I have watched on a regular basis.

Janet is the best. We don't leave Clementine much so I was a little anxious. Janet made both me and Clementine at ease during her stay. Five stars!

Janet is the absolute best!!!!! I had to leave my dog Effie with her for over a week. She is VERY communicative and responsive. Her space is very clean and I felt 100% comfortable with my dog being at her house. She genuinely cares about dogs which makes a difference. My dog is so loving and I really appreciate that Janet took the time to give her hugs and cuddles.
Always a pleasure using Janet - very responsive and extremely accommodating to changing plans. I know my dog is in good hands. Highly recommended.

Schedule
I’m a homebody and work from home full time, so with the exception of the occasional errand, I’m able to give your fur baby the focus and care they need until your return.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a house with a fenced-in backyard. I can also provide walks and trips to the park for plenty of exercise. I don’t have any small children that live with me, just one teenager. I do have two young grandchildren who visit occasionally, though, and there is a chance they may come in contact with your dog. So if your dog is not a fan of small children, I will just need a heads-up so I can take proper precaution.
A typical day
We will have lots of indoor and outdoor play. I have plenty of space to go for walks and play outside, plus I live close to a park. We will, of course, have plenty of downtime to rest and cuddle when needed.

- Let me know about your pet’s daily schedule, feeding, pottying, etc. How are they with other dogs or children? Do they like to be held and cuddled or do they like their space? Do they enjoy car rides? Are they allowed on the furniture at home? I will try to keep the same rules in my home that you have in yours. *No diapers or puppy pads, please. I can only accept completely house trained pups. Thank you!
