I’ve had 6 dogs throughout my life, 3 of which lived to be 15 years old, giving me experience caring for pets in all life stages. I have 3 semi-feral cats I adopted 5 years ago and have patiently worked to gain their trust and affection. I currently volunteer at a therapeutic horseback riding facility caring for horses 2 days a week and volunteer at Alexandria Animal Shelter. I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I will do my best to work out a schedule to fit your pet needs. Morning, afternoon and early evening care possible. Prefer week day scheduling but may be available on some weekends. I can provide trustworthy care in your pet’s own comfortable surroundings, minimizing stress for your pet during your time away. I am available to feed your pet and provide exercise or playtime.

When caring for pets in your home, I will treat your pets as if they were my own, follow all instructions you provide, and provide you with daily text message reports upon arrival and departure from your home.

Janet has taken care of my cat Baxter on two different occasions now while I’ve been out of town and I’m so glad to have found her! When I travel I’m able to relax knowing that Baxter is well taken care of when Janet stops by to check on him.
