I have had a dog ever since I can remember and I am 69 yrs old. I have TIME and am reliable, because I am retired. I made sure my kids grew up with a dog and now they have my grand dogs which I love to babysit. I lost my last dog (he was 14) in 2018 and I knew I was going to retire (and travel) in 2021 so now I have my grand dogs and all my friends dogs to babysit and get my fix. I also have volunteered for Path of Hope rescue since I retired. I have a medium sized doggie door out to a wonderful patio and yard fully fenced with 6 ft high vinyl fence. I love dogs so much. They are just the most loving, gentle, and FUN animals put on this earth. I am a walker, so all dogs that stay at my house get walked everyday, with a ton of love and affection.

I can’t say enough great things about her as our dog sitter. We just used her for the first time and it went great. She provided so many photos and updates daily! She asked lots of questions before us coming so she would be prepared. We never worried about him while we were gone! We will definitely use her again.

Schedule
I am going to start Rover on Jan. 2026!!!! I am retired, so I would love to walk your dogs during the day for you. (I am a daily walker anyway :) so why not?) If they stay with me, my home is perfect with a fenced yard, medium sized doggie door (but I do love and will have larger dogs too) and they will get a lot of love and attention.

Safety, trust & environment
While I prefer crate trained dogs, it does not mean they would be in their crate during the day unless you say it is needed if I leave the house. If not crate trained I would be okay if they are a very well trained dog :) My home is just me, so dogs will get that one on one attention. I am retired so I can accommodate any feeding/walking schedules that are needed.
A typical day
I love to walk and hike with dogs, always on leash of course. I also snow shoe in the winter if your dog likes to go with, that’s great. I have a snuffle mat that I made and playing ball etc is always happening. I encourage to bring bed, blanket, favorite toys etc.
