I have loved dogs my entire life, and have owned at least one dog since I was 10. I adore the Bichon Frise breed, so I have had Bichons since 1982 and helped raise 9 litters of puppies. Currently, I have Musette (8 years old) and Jacques (7 years old). They are willing to have company and share me with other dogs. We live in a quiet community, have a nice backyard (not on water), and a great dog park with sections for large and small dogs. In the past, I have helped family members and neighbors with their pets, so I would like to extend my services to others.

We had our dog with Janet for almost two weeks and are so happy we found her. We received daily updates and it’s so nice knowing our dog was well taken care of. We even had a last minute change in travel plans and Janet was so accommodating!
Janet did a great job of sitting my little dog. She sent daily texts and a picture letting me know that all was good; really appreciated her doing that. The entire experience of coordinating and having Janet sit my dog was very good.
Fantastic sitter. Janet loves dogs like her own. Odie is always pampered when he stays with Janet.

Schedule
My career was teaching, but I am now retired and just give a few music lessons through ZOOM. Thus, I will be home with your pet and will take him/her for walks. I enjoy dogs so much that I will definitely treat your family member as one of my own. However, I am careful with treats, so I will try not to spoil them too much.

Safety, trust & environment
As long as you give me directions, I am willing to follow them for your pet, including feeding schedules, medicines, walks, etc. My dogs are crate trained and sleep in their crates at night, so your dog will be crated just during the night for their protection and mine. The back of my yard has a fence, so it is quite protected.

A typical day
During our days, we can play with toys, and take walks to the dog park, mailbox kiosk, and around the community. My dogs enjoy looking out the front window to see who goes by. Let me know if there is an activity your dog likes to do.

- My dogs are now spayed and neutered, so I prefer dogs who are. However, I realize puppies are not yet. As I mentioned, any instructions I need to follow, I am most willing to do, so your dog feels comfortable with its normal routine.
