Pet care fits into my daily routine before or after flying. I also get Saturday and Sunday completely off from flight training, so it’s even easier on weekends to do more visits/longer stays.

Hi there 😊 I have over 20 years of professional Pet Care experience and a lifetime spent personally caring for/loving pets. I have previously worked for a prestigious pet sitting company back in my home town (Chicago), where I worked hard to earn my way up to Manager there. I have worked at Emergency Veterinary Hospitals and at day time Veterinary Hospitals as a Vet Tech, as a Client Care Coordinator and also as an Assistant Office Manager. I have also taken care of small animals as an Animal Care Specialist at Petsmart and enjoy caring for pets of all sizes/ages/needs. I truly value all of my Pet Care experience and am happy to bring that professional experience to your fur family! 🩷 I grew up around dogs, cats, fish and small animals. I believe a home is empty without a pet, because they truly become a part of your family 🥹. I have 2 wonderful fur babies of my own and also help take care of my Brother’s cat (due to my Brother being special needs). I help take care of my special needs Brother as well and truly enjoy helping others. When I am not taking care of everyone, you can find me living my next passion, which is aviation. I have a huge professional background in aviation and am also a private pilot. My goal with flying is to complete as many Pilots N Paws missions as possible. I got to do my very first mission on my birthday and it made for the best birthday ever! 🤗 I was also volunteer at The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg and plan to do more volunteer work with local animal sanctuaries/shelters in the near future. I will always care for your fur baby as if he/she were my own and will always treat them with unconditional love! I am very detail orientated and will always try to make sure your fur baby has the same routine with me that they normally have with you. I will also keep everything very clean and better than I found it. My life’s motto is leave everything better than you found it and leave everyone better than you found them. Janet has been an incredible cat sitter for our two kitties! She is very kind and attentive, and provides photos and detailed updates on how the cats are doing every visit! She has helped us out multiple times already this summer and we could not be happier. She deals with our sassy cat and also medicates them as well. She is as professional as they come. Very blessed to have her and you would be lucky to have her as well!
Janet did a wonderful job with our 2 large dogs, she was flexible when the internet went out, & sent lots of pictures throughout the weekend. We will use her again!
Janet was truly AMAZING!!! She made me feel completely at ease - sending frequent and thorough updates and pictures (truly pet-photographer worthy!). My pup (who can be quite a handful) was happy, at ease, well-exercised, loved on, and spoiled in her care - he even cried when parting with her! As someone who was nervous about trusting their beloved pup into a stranger's care, I could not speak more highly of Janet. She was in constant contact and made us feel so safe and happy that our pup was being cared for and spoiled! Janet is a great person with a passion for animals that really shows! When ever I needed someone to walk my dog Sammi, Janet did a fantastic job. She communicates well and is very responsible. After every visit Sammi was always really relaxed and happy!
