I’m Janet. I’m a cat enthusiast and a happily retired court reporter, and I moved to Charlotte 28210 from Miami in 1997. When you need someone to care for your fur family, plants or home while you’re away, I would love to be your stand-in! My husband, Kevin, and I started cat and house sitting earlier this year, and we love it! I do the majority of cat drop-ins. Kitten Experience: I have raised orphaned kittens from the tender age of four weeks old, and I understand their unique feeding schedules, energetic play needs, rapid development, and how to gently socialize them into confident, calm adult cats. Senior & Special-Needs Expertise: Having lovingly cared for senior cats—including my sweet girl, Blossom, who lived to age 20, and Disco, my standoff-ish 13-year-old feline of the house—I am deeply familiar with the delicate touch, patience, and routine sensitivities required for aging pets, as well as administering medications in a gentle-handed way. Whether a cat needs space, gentle reassurance, or interactive play, I know how to read their cues to ensure they feel safe and understood on their terms.
