I grew up with pets. Buster was our Boston Terrier, Sasha was our Schnauzer and Muffin was our little Toy Poodle. I absolutely love all dogs but prefer to care for smaller breeds. My husband and I have had several cats over our 36 years together. I am comfortable giving oral medications, to willing pets.

I cannot recommend Janet enough!! She was absolutely wonderful and took such good care of our Honey. She was excellent at sending photos and videos and updates. Honey was with Janet for 3 weeks and we knew without a doubt that she was being loved and cared for beautifully. Thank you so much Janet!!

Janet has been taking care of my pet cats’ for 10+ years. She has been absolutely amazing caring for them and has treated them like her own. She has provided much love and attention to them while I was away. I got thoughtful updates and photos regularly, which gave me a real peace of mind. I have come home to happy relaxed cats and a tidy home. Janet has cared for all of my fur babies (all stages of life) who have been on diet restrictions, medication, post surgery and a diabetes. I couldn’t recommend Janet more highly-she is truly exceptional!

Schedule
I am recently retired so have some free time to give care and cuddles. I would be available to come for visits through day, after 10 am. I am flexible though, so alternate times could be discussed if need be.

Safety, trust & environment
Pets need activity and love and I would give your's both, be it playing in the yard, short walks or just some cuddles. I would ensure that food is provided in the proper amount, as directed by you, fresh water available, and any accidents/messes cleaned up.
A typical day
Ball/toy play, chase, walks, and any ideas provided by you, if your dog has a favourite activity. Lots of cuddles are a given, if wanted.

- Please let me know of any restrictions (ie, stairs) or triggers (ie, don't touch ears) for your dog. Also let me know any preferences your dog has - favourite toys, belly rubs, etc. For stays in our home, it is mandatory that pets that go outdoors be seasonally treated for fleas and recently bathed.
