I am a retired childbirth educator, doula, and Hypnotherapist. I am blessed to have my days to myself and am home all day except for errands and hikes. We live in Sun City, Georgetown, Texas. Since I'm retired, my schedule is wide open. Lana, my partner, works full time from home.

I'd like to know if they are markers or barkers. Any fears that would cause fear or aggression is important for me to know. Are they wanting to be independent or do they prefer high levels of attention. Lap dogs up to medium sized dogs is my preferred size. I am happy to have pregnant or nursing animals and I'm very partial to senior pets!
A typical day
I like to be outdoors with pets when possible. Inside, we have toys and beds and treats. I also love just cuddling on the couch.

My style is very gentle, understanding, and affectionate, though I am also very clear with boundaries and behaviors. I was a foster parent for Lap Dog Rescue of New Mexico for three years. I have special experience with pregnant dogs and cats, newborns, and I have a big soft spot for senior pets. I am an avid hiker and walker, so your babies will get plenty of exercise!

Janet took great care of our Brady and our home for 3 nights. He was content, calm and happy when we came home!
Janet was absolutely amazing with my dog Boden! He sometimes struggles with separation anxiety, but Janet was able to make him feel so comfortable that he was actually excited to go back to her house for daycare after just one day! Not only did she take great care of him, but she was also fantastic at communicating with me throughout the day, keeping me updated on how Boden was doing. She took him on walks and even to the dog park, which he absolutely loved! Plus, he had the best time playing with her dogs too! I cannot recommend Janet enough - she is truly a wonderful dog caregiver.
