As much as I would like to keep Janet a secret, I can't. Your pet also deserves to be pampered by Janet and you deserve a peace of mind I had the entire 5 days I was out of town. Even a neurotic dog mom like me felt reassured, when I saw the immediate rapport Janet established with Boris. You can tell right away that Janet genuinely loves animals and is a caring and empathetic person. Her home is serene and surrounded by greenery. It's leaving your fur baby at a nature camp. Boris can't wait until Janet has an opening in her schedule.
Janet was great and our dog, Eldie, enjoyed her time with her. She was quick to respond, kept us updated with pictures, and made Eldie feel at home and at ease while we were away. Looking forward to having Eldie stay with her again in the future.

I can’t begin to say how pleased we were with Janet. Tyson is old with anxiety, takes daily medication and is a picky eater. Tyson took to Janet almost immediately and she had little to no issues with giving him his meds and getting him to eat. You can tell how much she genuinely cared for Tyson and making him comfortable. Her house is dog friendly and has a gated porch. She has a beautiful big yard for walks and potty breaks. Janet sent daily texts and pictures to us reassuring that he was happy and safe. We can’t thank her enough.
I can’t say enough good things about Janet! My dog, Diesel, had recently injured his leg and was limping, so I was nervous about leaving him with a sitter. I reached out to Janet about a week before the booking to explain his injury, and she immediately reassured me that she was comfortable and capable of caring for him. While I was away, she kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me such peace of mind. Diesel clearly felt comfortable and cared for, and Janet was attentive to his needs without making me feel like I had to worry. I’m so grateful to have found her and would absolutely trust her again to watch Diesel. Highly recommend!
Janet was a wonderful sitter. I have a very timid, anxious Westin , corgi mix rescue who is 12 years old. When I contacted Janet she suggested a meet & greet ahead of time in her home so Nala could meet her. She was very gentle & let Nala approach her without trying to pet her (most people who meet Nala think she is cute & try to approach her & she wants nothing to do with them and is terrified!!) communication with Janet was excellent & Nala did very well during her stay. Janet has a huge backyard so Nala got lots of walks. Janet is a gentle soul & was a wonderful sitter. I would not hesitate to have her again.

Schedule
I'm retired so I have plenty of time to devote to the wellbeing of your pet. There is always time for belly rubs & ear scratches. I have a dog friendly house - lounging on the couch is okay and sleeping in my bed is encouraged. Snuggle bunnies are welcome here.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet will have full run of the house - I don't use crates unless a crate is part of your pets usual routine. I have a large yard that is NOT fenced. All boarders will have to be walked on a leash. It is important that all pets are leash trained.
A typical day
Mornings start with a potty break and time in the yard to walk, play, and explore; then comes breakfast. Potty and play time will follow as your pet indicates. My yard is 1/2 acre so there is plenty of room for walking and playing. Fence coming in the spring.
