I live in a condo and have a small dog, a Boston Terrier mix, that I take for walks on the grounds and in the park. For my client’s larger dogs I would prefer to care for them in their own home.

A typical day
I would walk them and let them take their time, sniffing as they will, and then I would play with them, cuddle them and shower them with love and attention.

Pet care experience
I have had cats, dogs and birds since childhood and then raised my children with dogs, cats, Iguanas and hamsters. We all love animals. I am also a certified senior caregiver, recently retired and have references which I am willing to share. Cats and dogs and other pets are truly innocent babies and deserve all the love and care we give to our own children ❤️ I take care of my families pets while they are away and vice versa.

From one dog lover to another….Janet has been a long time friend and has been whispering to my dogs as long as I know her.Dogs and cats just love her, and enjoy her calm demeanour. Janet is the most caring, responsible, and intuitive animal person I know. I've seen her care for numerous animals over the years, from cats to dogs to birds and other pets, and I see how they thrive and are safe under her supervision. They sense her kindness as well as her adherence to rules and routines, and trust that combination. She has experience in dealing with pet health emergencies as they arise, and figuring out next steps in consultation with her wide circle of other pet caregivers. This all stems from Janet's deep-seated love of animals, and from being a pet owner for many years. Your pet will have fun with her, whether going on long walks, playing whenever they need to, or cuddling on the couch—and they'll look forward to her next visit.
Janet is great with all animals. She is kind, calm and trustworthy. She frequently babysits our dog at her place and once had him sleep over. She has also watched him at our place, where she has also looked after our cat at the same time. She has been great for keeping them company, great for going on walks and follows special instructions and food restrictions when given. We highly recommend!
