Our family has had dogs ever since our grown son was a child. We have owned and loved three dogs. As a retiree, I am happy to board your well-behaved, adult dog in my country home. Your dog will be the only dog I care for and will receive my full attention, as I will only care for one dog at a time.

I’ve known Jan for a long time. She is a very caring and responsible dog lover. After losing her dog, Gulliver last year she has missed having a dog to care for so she decided to give other dogs her affection. She has a wonderful fenced in yard, her home is set up for overnight visits and she walks, on a leash, the dogs in her care. You won’t go wrong entrusting Jan with the care of your loved family member.

Schedule
I'm retired and have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I love to walk in good weather and if your dog behaves on leash, I am happy to take your dog on safe, country hikes. If not, I have a large, fenced in yard for your dog to play in.

Safety, trust & environment
I will treat your well-behaved dog as a family member. Our home is a quiet, relaxed setting, and a great environment for senior or fearful dogs. If you live nearby, I prefer doing a "meet and greet" with your dog prior to boarding to enable a smooth transition when it's boarding time.
A typical day
We can play fetch in my fenced in yard, and depending on your dog's stamina, we can go on walks on the country trails in my neighborhood.
