I've been comfortable with all animals since a very young age and my experience working at Dogtopia in between school semesters at Virginia Tech gave me the strong sense of responsibility one needs when caring for others pets. Having taken care of dogs, rabbits, birds, and cats in my life, it has always been important for me to understand and cater to each animal's personality. I have learned so much and would be glad if my knowledge would allow you to trust me to take care of your pets as if they were my own.

Janessa was absolutely fantastic with our two cats! We needed to find a last minute sitter to board our cats while we were out of town, and Janessa was luckily available and so accommodating. She sent lots of pictures each day, so I was able to see how the cats were doing and make sure they were alright. My one cat, Inej, is extremely shy and anxious, and yet she came out of hiding in less than a day and was soon cuddling with Janessa and her partner. I think that’s a true testament of what a great pet sitter she is, and how patient and kind she is with animals. 10/10 would recommend her!

Schedule
I work from home full-time and luckily my work schedule allows for me to be flexible during the week and to care for your pets overnight. I am also conveniently located ~ 15minutes from DFW to support any of your travel accommodations.

Safety, trust & environment
I enjoy playtime as much as (and maybe more than) your furry friend does! I have an assortment of pet toys available and a soothing playlist for any anxious feelings that may arise. I also have access to a dog park in my apartment complex if they need space to run around or make friends.
A typical day
It is important to stimulate pets both mentally and physically. There is a walking path around the lake right behind my complex and I have a variety of toys to entertain my furry friends
