Pet care fits into my routine really well because I enjoy being around animals. I recently graduated from high school and I’m working a few shifts per week as a dog groomer! I’m able to plan my days around pet visits and walks. I always make sure I give each pet the time and attention they need. I like the structure it brings to my day, and caring for animals honestly never feels like a chore, it’s something I enjoy doing!

A typical day
When I visit pets, I like to stick to their normal routine so they feel safe and happy. A typical visit includes giving them food and water, spending time with them, and making sure they’re comfortable before I leave. For dogs, I’ll take them out for walks, play with them or just chill if that’s what they like. For cats, I’ll play with toys, give them attention if they want it, or just let them do their own thing. I’m always gentle and patient with animals and make sure they get the care they need.
