Loving home away from home
Loving home with many years experience caring for a variety of pets. Large fenced in back yard, animal friendly furniture, adult at home majority of the day, and two animal loving, responsible older children (15 and 12). In addition to a large fenced in yard for dogs to freely run, explore, and play, we live in a quiet (dog friendly) neighborhood perfect for walking on leash. I hold a special place in my heart for senior dogs but am happy to care for dogs of all ages. Due to two traumatizing experiences with German Shepard as a child, I prefer to stay away from that particular breed. My home is currently pet free for the first time in many years, and my kids and I look forward to caring for your furry kids as though they are our own. They will receive much love and attention while in our care.

This was our first time using rover and leaving our dog with someone other than family..Janelle did absolutely amazing and made sure to send updates/pictures daily. They went on daily walks and her kids kept our dog busy which can be hard since he is an Australian shepherd. We would highly recommend and will be using her again! Thanks again, Janelle and family!!
Janelle was great with my dogs - her kids really loved on them which made me feel so good that my dogs were with people who love them as much as I do. Got quite a few updates and pictures which is always reassuring. Highly recommend!
Janelle was amazing. I loved hearing how our pup was doing throughout our trip. He seemed happy and busy! We took toys and treats and all of his stuff but they had some fun new to our dog puzzles and the kids and neighbor dogs kept him entertained. It was our first trip away and our first time using Rover. We will for sure use Janelle again. 5 stars!!!!
Sent lots of good pictures and videos of my pup while I was on vacation
Janelle and her family spoiled Rosie for us while we were gone for Christmas. We'd definitely board with her again!

Schedule
I recently graduated with my second degree, a BSN, and will begin my first RN job in July; at that point in time I have every other week off and would love to fill my off weeks by continuing to provide dogcare. Leading up to July, I am home and available everyday to care for your furry loved ones.

Boarding care provided in my home which includes a large fenced in back yard, as well as a minimal-traffic neighborhood to walk on leash. I am happy to provide boarding in my home, walking in my neighborhood or a elsewhere (I particularly love the Kal-Haven trail), or play dates and potty breaks at your home.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on “sniffari” walks around the neighborhood giving them plenty of time and opportunities to explore all the new smells. We have a basket of dog toys for our furry friends to choose from, love to play fetch and chase in the big fenced in back yard, and have several dog puzzles for mental stimulation/challenge. Plenty of opportunities to snuggle and be loved on as well by myself and my preteen and teenager.
