I LOVE ANIMALS, especially cats! Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy spending time with dogs because they're playful and show their emotions. I also love a good walk with dogs. I've also had goldfishes for a few years and it was nice to watch them do their own thing and live their best lives. Cats are fun, weird, smart, sassy, and mysterious all at the same time. I have fostered cats as well.

Finding a dog sitter is easy; finding a cat sitter on the other hand is…well…not so easy from my experience. This has been a major challenge for my family whenever we had a vacation involving everyone. Finding Janelle has been a blessing IMHO. She and her family took such great care of my Minka, I was concerned she may not want to leave haha. Thank you again Janelle for taking care of Minka!

Schedule
AVAILABILITY: I work full-time in the office generally on Wednesdays-Sundays and am generally out of the house from 9am-8:30pm. My schedule will occasionally change to Monday-Friday. With this being said, please give me 12-24 hours to respond to any messages unless it is urgent. With drop-ins and boardings, I send updates (and pictures) daily, or every other day, at the very least. DROP-IN VISITS: - Once per day, only 30 minutes per visit. I can possibly do twice per day if you live in Magnolia. However, if I make the exception to do twice a day visits, I'm unable to stay for the whole 30 minutes in the mornings since I have to get to work. - I would also appreciate some flexibility with drop-in times because my schedule can be fluid and hectic. BOARDINGS: - Drop offs are only allowed in the evening because I work fully in-office. Please plan accordingly. If you have to be at the airport at noon on your departure day, please drop off the evening before. - No pick ups after 8:30pm. If your flight lands at 10pm, please book to pick up the following evening. - I only board one pet at a time

I do my best to ensure they are happy and taken cared of! Other than providing their basic needs, I also play with them, brush them, and chat with them about my day. I also understand boundaries and cues, so I will back off if they're not in the mood to play or hang out. When pets are at my home, I let them wander and explore so they can get used to their new surroundings. My home is their home. As I stated above, I have a pretty demanding schedule and am barely home. If your pet has a lot of needs and would need someone to constantly be around, I may not be the best person for you. I also have two middle school-aged children.
A typical day
But I let pets do whatever they want! I'm happy to be hanging out with them when I'm at home! I request pet owners to provide their animals' favorite toys while boarding so we can play. I also find toys around their homes when I do drop-in visits, so I play with pets while I'm over there.

- Lately I’ve been getting a lot of boarding requests, and then I’m ghosted. PLEASE only reach out to me if your plans are finalized and if you’re seriously considering booking with me! If you have cameras around your home, please let me know where they are and if I have permission to either turn them around or off during my drop-in visits. If you plan to watch me during my visits, I'm only consenting IF WE SPEAK ABOUT IT BEFOREHAND. Please have animals treated for fleas prior to boarding! I had an indoor kitty bring them to my home and they're tough to get rid of. Because of that, I was unable to board animals for a little while. Also, if you're inquiring with me and other sitters, please let me know if you managed to find another sitter. I would love the opportunity to meet and interview with you before you make any decisions, but I understand that you may be in a hurry to find someone. All I ask is to not leave me hanging or ghost me. Thank you for your cooperation!
