Active + Loving Dog Mom
I’ve grown up with dogs all my life (indoor and farm dogs) and currently have 2 young energetic Australian Shepherds. Nova we’ve had since a puppy and I’ve put a lot of work into training her. She has a long list of tricks under her belt (so I’m very patient with dogs). Astro, we recently adopted and have loved giving him the love and care he deserves. We do all of their care including baths, nail clipping, ear washing and administering oral medication. I love getting out with them for long trail walks, play sessions, training sessions, and fun in the water. I’ve enjoyed it so much I though—why not get out more with more pups :)

Our experience with Janel and her husband taking care of our dog Leo was fantastic. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better first experience. Leo was so happy and the three dogs hit it off. He can be anxious but settled in like he had known them all for a long time. It made our time away totally stress free and we will absolutely rebook.
Janel took wonderful care of our dog while we were away for a week. He had never been to Janel’s before but was very happy and comfortable. Janel was very communicative and sent us daily updates and photos. She was also very accommodating with our travel schedule as our flight home was delayed. We would definitely recommend Janel and will certainly have her care for our dog again!

We had an excellent experience leaving our dog Mocha with Janel for a few nights! She was incredibly accommodating and a great communicator. Our dog was well taken care off and had tons of fun with her two dogs. We'd highly recommend them to care for your dogs!
Janel took the time to meet my pup before their first walk, was very accommodating, and asked lots of questions. She was patient with my anxious pup and checked in with me when needed. I hope to have her walk Frankie again!

Schedule
I work early mornings, so I’m free most weekday afternoons (typically after 2pm) to take your dog out for a walk, play session or house visit while you’re out! For boarding, between my partner and I your pup won’t be at home alone too long. He takes our dogs Nova and Astro out in the morning for a walk and breakfast before he leaves for work. I’m typically home by 12pm and spend the rest of the day with them by my side. Our days are filled with walks, play, trick training, and lots of cuddles!

I’m active, reliable, and happy to get outside in any condition (rain…sun…or snow) to make sure you pup can burn off some energy, have fun and get some exercise. I’m patient with dogs who like to smell the roses or need a little extra direction and have lots of experience to keep up with high energy breeds.

A typical day
I love to going on long walks with dogs where they can do lots of sniffing and get lots of exercise in. If there is a park nearby—great! We’ll play fetch or tug. I know how important mental stimulation is as well and love to work on tricks with dogs or play games like hide and seek! Of course lots of pets and belly rubs as well.
