I’ve watched dogs through rover over the last 5 years and have over 45 positive reviews. Also, growing up my family always had a dog that we took care of. I’ve taken care of my family dog solely for over 5 years. Family and friends also have relied on me to watch their pets while they are away, both in my home and visits to their home as well. I’ve been able to provide specific dog care requests, such as administering medication and dog food preferences/specifcations. I absolutely love dogs, and love caring for fur family members.

Janel is awesome! We were able to book a week long stay for our lab on short notice when our other sitter bailed. I have used others on Rover before and Janel is one of the best. She will be our first choice next time we are out of town!

Schedule
I am currently working at home 5-7 days a week so I will have plenty of time to spend quality time with your fur baby and attend to their needs. I also like taking walks and would love for you your fur baby to join me. I like to take doggy trips to my local dog park on my lunch or after work, if your dog likes socializing with other dogs.

I will care for your fur baby like it was my own. Your dog will feel nice and cozy here at my house. I have a small fenced yard that I can quickly access to take your dog out to use the bathroom or a quick leashed walk, to stretch their legs. I can also crate your dog at any time, per your request.
A typical day
Your dog will enjoy 2 walks a day around my neighborhood. I also enjoy introducing your dog to the neighborhood dog park, if your dog enjoys socializing with other dogs. I like to play fetch (short distance) in the house or outside. If your dog enjoys car rides, your dog can join me for morning drop off for my son and afternoon pick-up from school. During the day, your dog will enjoy petting and cuddles. If your dog is not an outdoors type and is a homebody or older in age I have no problem staying home with them and enjoying indoor activities, like naps, cuddles, watching tv and stretching. =) I can send pics and updates of how your dog is doing while you are away, as well.
