I am newly semi-retired and am looking forward to spending more time with dogs in my free time! I work for 2 - 4 hours a day at my neighborhood school, but my schedule is flexible and can be adjusted to meet your dog’s needs.

Your dog will have a vacation with me while you are on your vacation! I love dogs and the dogs that I care for become part of the family during their stay. I spend lots of time playing with the dogs I care for, making sure they get lots of pets and cuddles, and going on walks in my beautiful, quiet, and dog-friendly neighborhood. In the past, with owners’ permission, I’ve taken the dogs I care for on dog-friendly hiking trails and the beach. I can give your dog any medicines they need, as well as keep an eye on any conditions that you are keeping track of. I am easy to reach and you can even FaceTime your dog through me if you’re missing your pup! 🐾

A typical day
Of course, your dog and I will go on lots of walks exploring the multiple parks in my neighborhood and smelling all the wonderful flowers in my area. With owners' permission, I have also taken dogs out hiking in the local preserves or to the beach. At home, I love to play fetch with dogs in my fenced backyard or play with dogs with their toys in my home.

Pet care experience
I am an experienced private dog sitter now trying out Rover for the first time! I have years of experience caring for dogs of all ages. I’ve cared for puppies younger than one year who always get frequent walks and playtime, more seniors dogs who I give attentive, specialized care and daily/regular medicine to (if needed) as well as dogs of all ages in between! I have no animals of my own at home, so your dog will get lots of 1:1 love and support!

Jane is amazing! She took great care of our dog while we were away. Our dog has anxiety and requires medication, but Jane was incredibly patient and never seemed put off by her timid nature.
