Availability
I took early retirement three years ago so have plenty of free time to care for your cats and dogs. I do enjoy my holidays and occasional weekend breaks but, given sufficient notice, I can fit my life around your requirements.

We all know that cats rule the roost so I’ll happily fit in with their demands (!) Dogs will be walked, fed and cuddled in line with your instructions.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs - dietary or otherwise. I am not great at giving oral meds (unless in food) but I give excellent cuddles!
A typical day
I prefer to walk other folks’ dogs on a lead unless you advise me they are 100% certain to come back when called. It’s a big responsibility looking after other people’s animals and I would hate anything to happen to them whilst in my care. However, if I’m in a safe, enclosed space with no other dogs around I’m happy to throw a ball and play games etc.

Pet care experience
I owned two adorable cats for 16 years and a much loved Cavalier King Charles spaniel for 13 years prior to that. Sadly they have all passed over the Rainbow Bridge now😢 . I’m a mature lady who loves all animals and who enjoys walking - so equally at home out for a stroll or sitting indoors with a cat on my knee!

Helped out last minute life saver
Jane was fantastic. She did 2 drop in visits for my 3 cats. 2 are nervous rescue cats who seem entirely unperturbed by the whole event so I know she was fab with them. The other is an my 16 yr old cat who has some health issues. Jane administered medication (crushed tablets and liquid) as well as feeding all 3 and cleaning up after them. I was so grateful that Jane took such good care of my poorly old cat with no complaint at all. Could not have asked for more!
Jane has been amazing, she took care of my cats on such short notice. She sent daily pictures of my fur babies and kept my mind at ease while on holiday. When I got back, all my cats had been taken care of very well, would definitely recommend to anyone. Will be using Jane again in the future :)
