I have had dogs for over 23 years with having 3 Springer Spaniels, I have always been kept active. Since taking early retirement I am at home all day with no dogs as ours sadly passed last year. I have all the time and attention to welcome your fur baby into our home. I have a large garden, totally secure and close to the beach, where I love to walk dogs. I know from my own experiences of having our own dogs looked after while away, how much you miss them and need reassurance that they are happy and look after, just like they would be in your own home. I am happy to give medicine if required, I have no other pets or children and a non smoker. I have put that I will accept large dogs however my preference is nothing over 25kg. New to Rover? This was the first time our 1 year old puppy had spent a night away from us, and Jane took really good care of her - walks, toys, playing in the garden, and taking extra time to settle her at bedtime. Jane sent photo messages so we could see how well Gracie had settled. When we collected Gracie it was clear she was very happy with Jane. We are so pleased to have found such a lovely place for Gracie to stay when we need to travel without her.
Jane has looked after my dogs a few times for us now. They are both rescues so can be a bit nervous but they always settle in quickly with Jane and Tim. I would highly recommend them both. Your dog or dogs will be in safe hands in this loving home
Couldn’t have asked for better care for our beloved Spaniel. A real home from home, Jane really knows her stuff and adores dogs. She provides a good sized safe and secure garden and she really cares for the dogs she looks after. Will definitely use again and can highly recommend.

Schedule
I am now retired and at home all day. I Live with my husband who is also a dog lover and enjoys dog walks. Your dog will not be left on their own as my husband is happy to look after them while I pop out to the shops. Your dog will get 3 walks a day if required and plenty of play in the garden,

I have a large secure garden and live on a quite road, a few minutes from the beach. Having dogs for over 20 years, our home has always been a home for dogs, including cuddles on the sofa. We do not have many visitors or any children at home. If your dog is nervous of new people we would be happy to not have visitors during their stay. I would walk your dog on the lead at all times. Our last springer was a rescue and quite nervous of other dogs, therefore if your dog is nervous you can be reassured that we are use to dealing with this. All our springers have lived a long life, therefore use to dealing with senior dogs. Since retiring I have volunteered at the Dog Trust for 5 years, which has given me more experience with working with different breeds.
A typical day
Playing in the garden, hide and seek with treats, enhancement boxes. Walks along the beach and woodland areas. Happy to consider anything that you would normally do with your dog too.
