Safe, caring and fun stay for your precious dogs
Four decades of devoted dog care from playful pups to gentle seniors. Dog First Aid certified . I provide a caring, safe and fun environment for your pets and will follow your guidelines for their day to day routine. I will also meet your dog(s) in your home to introduce myself to them , and like them to have a short trial stay to ensure that they settle and are happy at Harleys Home from Home. I have a good understanding of how to engage your pets in activities to keep their brains and bodies active. We want your pets to feel that this is a 'home from home' and enjoy their stay, so we make sure to learn their likes and dislikes and daily routines. We provide bowls, bedding , toys and crates (if wanted) but you are welcome to bring your dogs toys or blankets . We use Vet Recommended cleaning products to keep your pets safe. All dogs have lead walks unless we are in a secure area, I regularly take them to Doggy Play Fields so that they can have a good run or time sniffing off lead in a safe environment.

My dog took to Jane immediately. She took such great care of her. She sent lots of updates. Also she booked a private fenced field for her as she can’t go off lead. Thank you so much. We were very lucky to find you whilst on our holiday
Jane was absolutely brilliant. She responded really quickly, was incredibly accommodating despite it being very last minute, and made the whole process so easy. She's a genuinely lovely lady, and my dog warmed to her straight away. She kept me updated throughout, and it was clear my little dog was happy, relaxed and well looked after. I picked her up one very happy dog! (Jane's dog Watson is a lovely little dog too! Which helped Dolly settle quickly). I wouldn't hesitate to use Jane again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, very reliable and caring dog sitter.
Jane stepped up to help us last minute, and we couldn’t be more grateful for finding her! Her home was set up perfectly for Ziggy, with constant access to the back garden and a patio for sun bathing. She had a lovely, reassured manner which put us and Ziggy immediately at ease, and Watson was an absolute delight. Ziggy had simply the best time whilst staying with Jane, loving his runs through the woods and opportunity to be safely off the lead! Thank you so much for taking such good care of him!
What can I say Jane was amazing! We had a families day nearby and short notice Jane was able to accommodate. I have never felt more reassured leaving my dogs - Jane instantly put me at ease and sent the most joyful updates throughout the day. Watson was also the star of the show. Thank you once again - Maverick and Goose have slept the rest of the weekend. We will be in the area again and will be booking again. Thank you so much Jane and Watson xx
Jane went above and beyond with a great attention to detail including a pre-visit to our house to get to know Watson (our dog has the same name as Jane’s) before his stay. We picked a well content dog up after his stay. Jane is also a lovely person as well. Thanks Jane.
Gigi had a fantastic stay at Jane's house. The video of our Dali playing with her dogs in a secure field was a great touch. Would definitely book again.

Schedule
I am at home full-time with my little dog Watson – he loves to play and has lots of doggy friends that he goes on lovely walks with . I keep as close as possible to an owners home routine to ensure continuity and stability for your dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a secure home and fairly large garden with toys for fun and playtime with safe spaces available for comfort and care . We use puppy training and socialisation support for young dogs . All walks are on lead unless we are in a secure area. We exercise dogs regularly to keep them fit and healthy but will take into account owner requests and the age of your dog . We limit our canine customers so we can provide lots of personal attention and cuddles . Your dogs are treated like our own pets and they become part of our extended family - we work hard to ensure that they have as lovely a time here as you do on holiday , or that you can work with the knowledge that your dogs are having a good time .

Regular walks in the nearby woods, beaches and country parks - open running and agility equipment or toys in secure fields. We have agility equipment for our garden and outside toys for play We have a range of enrichment games to keep your dogs mind and body active
