Hello! I'm Jane and I'm excited to meet your pup! I work 7am-4pm Monday-Friday, so I am available in the early mornings and after 5pm for pick ups and drop offs during the week. On weekends, I'm available anytime. I’ve had dogs and been around dogs all my life. Growing up we always had family dogs and my uncle raised and trained Mastiffs, so from a young age I was immersed in dog life. Most recently, I had a beagle-basset hound named Matilda. She was a rescue I adopted at about age 4. I was able to love her and spoil her for 8 years before she passed away. That was about 3 years ago and I just haven't felt ready to get another dog yet. That's where you and your dog come in! I missed having a dog in my life, and when a friend mentioned Rover I thought it would be the best of both worlds! I get to meet all sorts of dogs, different breeds, sizes, energy levels. I love getting to know each dog, learning their quirks and funny personality traits. I inevitably fall in love with every dog that stays with me. They all get treated like I’d treat my very own dog. Snuggles and belly rubs for all! I always send updates and photos so you can feel comfortable with me watching your furry loved one! Currently working 7-4 (I do not work from home) but have plenty of time before/after work and on weekends to exercise your dog and spend quality time with them, just like you would! Firstly, I think communication is key! You will get daily updates with photos of our adventures so you'll feel at ease leaving them in my hands. I follow any rules or guidelines of the pet parent - if you don't allow your dog to have more than one treat, sit on the furniture, or have a dog park schedule to stick to I'm more than happy to abide by those rules. I will treat your dog like my own; they will sleep with me if they're allowed to, I'll take goofy photos of them, and I will genuinely enjoy having them in my home.
