I work at home (part-time) and my schedule is very flexible, so lots of time for your pup. My daughter’s dog visits from time to time; she’s a two-year-old rescue who’s an absolute sweetheart, born snuggler, and is much beloved by all who meet her! I’ve been lucky enough to look after her on many occasions.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood with a huge backyard. Because the yard is unfenced, I keep pups on a leash at all times. I use long (16-25 foot) leashes so that the dogs can run around and have fun, while staying safe. Inside the house, we’ll play fetch (with tennis balls, frisbees, kongs), play with tug-toys other games your dog likes.

Home Away From Home

Pet care experience

I’ve always loved dogs and have never been without them in my life. As a young adult, I volunteered at an animal shelter, and I’ve owned rescue dogs for 25 years (puppies to seniors). I was lucky enough to have two amazing pups for the past 14 years but sadly, they both passed away within the past year at the ages of 18 and 14. I'm looking forward to new adventures with another dog sometime soon, and taking care of my clients’ dogs continues to be a joy! Senior experience – I have lots of experience with senior dogs – including managing medications, special diets, extra cozy beds, slow walks, and other things our senior friends sometimes need. Getting to know your dog – I always like to have a Meet and Greet with you and your dog before boarding. This way, I can get to know your dog's individual needs, likes, dislikes, etc. A typical day – I’ll get to know what your dog typically likes to do on our initial meeting. Depending upon your dog’s preferences and needs, the day will involve a mix of walks, playtime, treats, snuggles and some downtime.

Jane was absolutely amazing. We were so nervous about leaving Riley, as we haven’t left him very often, but she was wonderful. She updated us with pictures, and also notes about what he was up to. I would highly recommend her!!!

It seemed like our dog had a great time with Jane and we loved getting the daily picture updates and notes about what they did each day! Will definitely book with Jane again!

Jane was fantastic with our dog Bayou. She provided clear communication before the stay and great updates during the stay. Bayou was happy and well cared for.
