During every visit, I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep your pet on their normal routine, make sure they have fresh food and water, administer oral medications if needed, and provide plenty of attention and affection. I’ll also send photo and text updates after each visit so you know how they’re doing. I respect your home, double-check doors and gates, and treat both your pets and your home with the same care I would my own.

Before my first visit, I’d love to learn about your pet’s normal routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, medications, allergies, personality, and any fears or behaviors I should know about. I’d also appreciate emergency contact information, your veterinarian’s information, and any special instructions for your home. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can help your pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to follow their routine and what makes them happiest. During each visit, I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, potty breaks or a clean litter box, and plenty of love and attention. For dogs, that might mean a walk, a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or simply spending time outside. For cats, it could be interactive play with toys, brushing (if they enjoy it), or quiet companionship. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll also send photo updates so you can see how much fun we’re having!

Pets have always been a huge part of my life, and I currently share my home with three dachshunds. Caring for them has given me experience with everything from energetic younger dogs to seniors, medications, special routines, and recognizing when something doesn’t seem right. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I treat each one with the same patience, kindness, and attention I give my own. I offer dependable evening and weekend drop-in visits and provide photo updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are in caring hands.
