Hi, I’m Janaki, a lifelong animal lover. I’ve owned pets my whole life and I’ve been the go-to pet person for my family and friends for as long as I can remember, trusted to care for their pets whenever they needed someone reliable and loving. I’ve spent decades caring for cats of all temperaments — from cuddly lap cats to sensitive or shy personalities — and I know how to read and respect their boundaries. I’ve also looked after a wide range of dogs, including energetic puppies, large breeds, retired racing dogs, and slow-moving seniors who need a little extra patience and care. No matter the animal, I bring a calm, observant, and thorough approach to make sure they feel safe, seen, and completely cared for. I genuinely love caring for pets and I’m always focused on creating a comfortable experience for both pets and their people.

When I’m in your home, I’m a respectful and responsible guest. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible to keep things familiar and stress-free for them. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just keeping them company, I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and never alone. I’ll also gladly water plants or help with light home care tasks if needed while you're away.

Janaki did a great job for us . She arrived on time and was able to make friends with our dog that has a bad tendency to over react when greeting newcomers, but Janaki was able to handle this well. We liked her photos on the walk especially charmed with phot of her holding two bags of poop.

I’m a freelancer, so I have a very flexible schedule and lots of availability throughout the day and week. That flexibility allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine — whether it’s early morning visits, midday walks, or evening check-ins. I genuinely love caring for animals, and I’m always glad to make time for your pet. I’m happy to work around whatever schedule fits your needs best. Since I’ve had pets my whole life, tending to animals feels like second nature. I’m committed to making sure your pet never feels alone while you’re away. I’m not just there to feed them — I’ll spend quality time with them, give them attention, and make sure they feel loved, comforted, and cared for every step of the way.
