I love making playtime a fun and engaging part of each day with the pets I watch! I’m naturally active and athletic, so I genuinely enjoy running laps with high-energy dogs, playing fetch, and going on long, scenic hikes — especially with my best friend’s Labrador, who I care for regularly. I’ve always had a great connection with high-energy dogs because I make sure they get the physical and mental stimulation they need to feel happy and balanced. With cats, I take a more gentle approach at first, letting them set the pace. Once we’re familiar, I love engaging them with toys, games, and whatever play style they prefer — whether it’s chasing a feather wand or encouraging a classic case of the zoomies. I always try to match each pet’s energy and personality, giving them not just attention but a daily outlet for fun, movement, and connection. Playtime is just as rewarding for me as it is for them — it keeps us both active, happy, and bonded.

I’ve spent decades caring for cats of all temperaments — from cuddly lap cats to sensitive or shy personalities — and I know how to read and respect their boundaries. I’ve also looked after a wide range of dogs, including energetic puppies, large breeds, retired racing dogs, and slow-moving seniors who need a little extra patience and care. No matter the animal, I bring a calm, observant, and thorough approach to make sure they feel safe, seen, and completely cared for.
