Loving family to care for your pet
Hello! We’re a family of four who understand the stress of leaving your pet with a stranger. As former Rover users ourselves, we know what it’s like to want to place them in an environment where they’ll feel safe, loved and cared for. Our 18yo dog Daisy passed away last year. As we transitioned to having no pets, we realized we missed having a furry friend around. We’d love to offer a caring, hassle-free place that you can trust for your pet.

If I could give more stars I would!! Jana & Sam (& their boys!) were incredible. They took such wonderful care of my senior dog Sophie and were so great with communicating updates, sending photos, answering questions, and always got back to me quickly. Her boys were so sweet and gentle with my girl, too, and Jana shared some seriously cute photos of them interacting. They even took her to one of the boys’ baseball games (and of course made sure it was okay with me first) and it seems like Sophie had a blast there running around. They have a beautiful home and had a yard where Sophie could go out, which was really nice, and they also allowed her to hang out on the couch with them, something I know she throughly enjoyed! They were flexible with drop-off/pickup times, too, and even allowed me to extend the stay an extra night when my plane was unexpectedly delayed. Sophie did unfortunately have a couple of unforeseen health challenges arise during her stay (of course said challenges had nothing to do with Jana or Sam! Just some age-related stuff) and they handled everything so well, they were so communicative, honest, and went out of their way to take her to the urgent care vet as I couldn’t get an appointment with my primary vet until after I returned. They spent time calling around, gave me multiple options, gave me an idea of the cost, and allowed me to choose which one they took her to, making sure I was involved throughout every step. They provided honest input when asked (I am terribly indecisive sometimes and asked for their opinion), made sure I was able to speak with the vet during the visit and that I knew exactly what was happening during the appointment, and they never overstepped any bounds, respecting any decisions or wishes I had about how to proceed with the treatment. By the time I picked Sophie up from her stay, she was almost completely recovered and happy as a clam. It was clear she had had a great time and that she was extremely well cared for. Jana also provided me with detailed notes when I picked her up about the medication the vet had prescribed, as well as notes about her health and behavior that were extremely helpful, as I only just adopted her a couple of months ago and am still learning about her patterns and behaviors. I’m sure there’s something I’m missing, but long story very long, they were absolutely incredible. Having only recently adopted Sophie, I was nervous about traveling and having to leave her, but knowing she was in such good hands while I was away lifted that huge weight of anxiety/worry off my shoulders, and I just can’t thank Jana & Sam enough! 20/10 - highly highly recommend!
We felt very safe leaving Dot in their competent care.
Jana and her family did an amazing job taking care of Belka for a long weekend. Great communication throughout, coordinated a meet and greet prior to make sure it was a good fit, and sent plenty of updates. Pick up and drop off seamless and Belka came home happy and healthy. Will definitely book again!
Jana took some time to schedule a meet and greet with Roman. They have a nice outdoor area for dogs to lounge and soak up the sun and WFH which is great for my anxious guy since he always has someone around!

We LOVE Jana & Sam! I don’t think I’ve ever seen my kids so happy staying with someone else, especially someone they didn’t know. George and Bear both looked so happy in EVERY picture they sent me. I actually felt guilty picking them up to go home at the end of their stay 😂 We love Jana & Sam so much we’re going to start doing daycare with them once a week! George & Bear feel so special and have such a great time, I couldn’t speak highly enough about them and the care they give my kids 💙🙏🏼

Zeitplan
We both work from home during the week, so your pet will always have company. Weekend activities are tailored toward our furry friends and our kids (6 & 8yo boys).

Sicherheit, Vertrauen & Umgebung
Animal guests have full run of the house and we will follow any rules you have in your home. We have a fenced in outside area, perfect for pets. It’s a mix of patio, pavers and plant beds and goes almost all the way around the house, with plenty of things to sniff. We keep the back door open to the outside most of the day, weather permitting, so pets can go in and out as they please. There is also a dog door for savvy pups. Our house has AC.

A typical day depends on the needs of your pet. We want to provide the best care and therefore only accept animals from one household at a time for boarding.
