I’ve been caring for dogs for 8 years now. When I was 15, my family adopted our first puppy, Rori, an Australian Shepherd. I trained with her from puppyhood and we worked on both useful skills and fun tricks. So I have experience with active and very intelligent dogs. At 19, I rescued my Pomeranian, Piru, who had a difficult past and needed patience and trust-building. Over the last few years, Piru and I formed a very strong bond, and he’s now a playful and happy little dog (even though he's still a bit cautious with strangers). What I‘m trying to make come across is that I know how to work with different breeds and personalities, identify a dog's specific needs, and adapt my care accordingly.
