Your dog's new favorite walk!
I do not currently have a pet, but always seem to be surrounded by a variety of loving dogs! I have been dog-sitting for friends and fostering dogs for a local LA rescue for over 3 years. My friends have trusted me to walk, feed, care for, and play with their pets while they are away. Though I don't have professional training experience, fostering dogs has taught me a lot of patience and to care for even the most sensitive or stubborn pups. I love going on long walks, hikes, and playing catch in my backyard. Perhaps similar to your amazing pet, I love routine! I am happy to keep your pet's routine and take them for a long walk on days you are unavailable or are just not up for it. Keeping your pup active and healthy is important to me, I am reliable, communicative, and am also willing to discuss sliding scale if needed.

Amazing communication while planning in advance, amazing updates throughout, and so so sweet with my big old pup! Really appreciated everything about Jana's care, she even sent him home with a new bone! So kind and generous.
Jana is a terrific foster mom to dogs of all breeds and shapes and sizes and ages. She has a nice house and fenced in back yard for dogs to play in. Highly recommend Jana as a dog sitter.

Schedule
I work part time and have a flexible schedule in which I can be home for a number of hours throughout the day. Weekends are best, as I can be around all day!

I have a fenced in yard and a spacious home, with plenty of room for medium/large dogs. I can easily crate a dog if crate is provided.
A typical day
I love to keep dogs entertained if they are high energy. I love to take pets on long walk in my neighborhood, or bring them outside with me in my fenced in yard to explore if I am doing yard work or wanting to spend time in the sun.
