Jan is a wonderful, caring pet sitter. She stayed in my home and treated it with respect while giving phenomenal care to my dog, Agnes. Very highly recommend!

I think Jan believes she is a good person, but most narcissists do. Unfortunately, she has very little character or integrity. She kept in touch through the stay sending pics of walks and playing in the backyard, and I'm sure RJ and Morgan appreciated her attention. That's where the good stuff ends. I arrived home to a couple items NOT in the condition they were when I left. The bottom and side of a leather recliner (in which Jan mentioned spending most of her time) are terribly stained with red wine. As is the tile/grout, baseboard, and wall adjacent to the chair. The end table next to the chair is broken at the top of one leg, and a wooden art piece sitting on that table is broken. It is now 3 days after my return and I had to call her to get an explanation. She claims that it was my dogs fault. That they became frantic when I left and started knocking things over. I've had multiple friends, family, and neighbors (some known by my dogs and some new to them) watch them, either staying in the house or stopping by repeatedly, and there has never been an issue like Jan describes. She clearly poured herself a glass of wine IMMEDIATELY upon my departure and who knows when that stopped. It is possible that my experience is an anomoly, but I doubt it. She destroyed property while in my house and refuses to take responsibility. I will be taking this as far as is needed.
