I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up with both dogs and cats — they’ve always been an important part of my life. Although I don’t currently have a pet of my own, I truly miss their companionship, and I’m here on Rover to share my love, care, and attention with yours! I work remotely, so I have plenty of time throughout the day to keep your pup company, whether it's for walks, playtime, or just relaxing together. My go-to spot for walks is a peaceful park just minutes from my home, in a quiet and pet-friendly neighborhood. I’m very careful and attentive during walks, and if your dog enjoys music, I often play calming dog tunes to help them feel comfortable. I believe every dog is unique, so I’ll likely ask you lots of questions about your pup’s needs, habits, and personality — I want to make sure I provide the best care possible. If your dog has any special needs or medical conditions, please let me know in advance so I can ensure I’m the right fit. I never book two dogs at the same time — your dog will always have my full attention. Jan and her partner were such great dog sitters for our 13 year old senior and 5 year old and we can’t recommend them enough. Our dogs stayed with them in their home for 10 days and we never felt like we didn’t know what was going on while we were away or that they weren’t getting enough attention, it was just the opposite! Our older girl is a bit higher maintenance with needing medications twice daily and a bit more attention compared to some other dogs but Jan made sure to keep us informed of how they were doing each day and took lots of pictures clearly showing how happy and comfortable our pets were- there was constant open communication and she made sure to let us know if our senior girl was having a bad day with her arthritis or mood. I don’t have enough good things to say and definitely will be booking with them again, thanks guys!!
Jan was amazing with our two pugs, Izzy and Bernie! She cared for them for a week at her home, took them to the park and groomers, and kept us updated along the way. She truly went above and beyond (2 pugs with different personalities ha). Jan even helping my mom during her dog’s emergency. We knew our dogs were safe, loved, and well cared for. We highly recommend Jan and will definitely book with her again!

Jan took such amazing care of my boy Larry! I had been anxious about leaving him because he has some reactivity towards dogs on walks, but she provided so much care and attention when watching him. She gave him all of the love and affection he needed (which can be a lot 😅) and it was so nice to know he was in good hands while I was away!

A typical day
My go-to spot for walks is a lovely park just minutes from my home. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood, so every walk feels safe and enjoyable. If your pup is playful, I love spending time engaging with them — whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or just a little zoomie fun! I also like to play calming dog music to help them feel relaxed and at ease during our time together.
