I offer the finest quality drop in care services available for your dog or cat. I have a long track record with Rover.com as a five star dog sitter. Due to COVID precautions I'm only available for drop in visits at this time. Your dog or cat will receive loving care with feeding, playtime and medications if necessary. Daily updates are sent to you along with a picture as well! I look forward to serving you and your precious fur babies. In the event of snow I own two four wheel drive vehicles to reach all the animals in my care. I'm available seven days a week to care for your pets. I will need to have detailed care instructions for each pet with emergency contacts. I have an outstanding five star rating with years of dog sitting with Rover.com. I will continue to be trustworthy with in home visits as well. A clear set of care instructions is a vital part of doing my job well.

This was a cat service, not dog. I will not rebook with Jan. While she did come for the exactly 30 minute pet sitting visits it seemed like she was just “checking the boxes”. In addition, our directions were not followed: cats were overfed, auto feeder dishes not managed correctly, alarm not set one day, front door not locked one day. Unless I had specifically reached out, she would have left the scooped poop in the house during the week. Overall, the mechanics of the visit were completed but it left a lot to be desired.
On short notice, Jan agreed to look after our 17-year old cat for a few days. Every morning we looked forward to her report on how Kirby was doing, and to the photos she would send. Seeing those photos each day helped reduce our stress level and ensured that Kirby was being well cared for. Thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness, Jan! We really appreciated it! You will be our first call the next time we travel out of town.
Jan was wonderful with our two pups! She sent us plenty of pictures and updates during their stay. They both came home very tired and very happy, so I know they had a great time!
Jan was such a great find for our pup’s first Rover stay. She sent pictures and kept us posted about how he was doing throughout his week with her. He even met his very first horse (whom he apparently loved!)! We will definitely check with Jan first the next time we need a sitter.
Jan has watched our Yorkie several times over the past year and a half and she has been great! She sends updates and pictures, and our fur baby has been well cared for. Thank you Jan for taking such good care of our little guy!
I highly recommend Jan for boarding options. My two pooches stayed with Jan almost the entire month of December. Though I was away for an extended period of time, I received texts, photos, and updates to there activity and well being. Jan offered to take one of my dogs to her vet, on a small laceration near the eye. Going to use her again, for sure!

A typical day
It depends on the needs of the dog. Some dogs need a presence to give them companionship while others need lots of playtime. Exercise is very important for all dogs and I make sure that need is met.

- I need to know if your dog needs any special care. This can be medications, behavioral tendencies, shyness, aggression to other dogs. I have handled a multitude of dog's and their personalities and possible issues. I am very good with dogs that need special handling. Many of them are rescues and need extra patience and reassurance.
