Retirees who LOVE dogs!!
We've had dogs as pets all of our lives. We lost our last dog in March of 2021 and miss him greatly. Being Rover sitters will fill the void in our hearts without the full-time commitment. We're both very active and will provide a playful experience to our Rover dogs. We are retired and have lots of free time. We maintain a consistent schedule each day and provide predictable routines for dogs in our care. We have a fenced in yard with no other dogs in our home. We live half a block from a park and love to go on walks. We are retired and one or both of us is home most of the time. We enjoy spending time with the dogs we care for, so your dog will get a lot of attention with walks in our nearby park. We have a fenced yard and a doggie door which allows your pet access to the outdoors. Because we have been dog parents until recently, our house is “dog proofed” to prevent access to anything harmful to your furry friend.

Jan and Joe were amazing. They provided a calm, safe and fun environment for my dog. He was happy and he looked relaxed and comfortable at their place right away. Nice fenced yard, long walks and photo updates! Thank you!!
Jan and Joe were absolutely wonderful! They were communicative, sent regular photo updates, and went above and beyond to make Pickles feel right at home. They were also incredibly accommodating and flexible when our flight got delayed. We could tell Pickles was happy and well-cared for the entire time. We look forward to booking with them again!
Joe and Jan did an amazing job watching our dog while we were out of town for a week. I’d hands down recommend them if you’re looking for a new sitter.
Another wonderful stay with Jan and Joe. We appreciate that they took good care of Louis during the 4th of July holiday weekend - they provided comfort and reassurance to him during an evening with fireworks. Thanks again.

We have a big backyard that is great for chasing balls. We live near a park that is wonderful for walks. We also give tummy rubs and ear scratches.
