***Updated info: I only take one family at a time for specialized care!*** I would love to welcome your pet into our home! I have previous experience with all sorts of dog temperaments. Your pet will receive lots of love and attention! I will be available to give as many updates as you would like while your pet is here. This will be his or her home away from home! Not only do I have personal pet experience, I have also volunteered at a local shelter and have done dog transport on occasion. I will listen to what your needs are for your pet and do my best to care for him or her. You can be rest assured that your pet will be safe and happy in my care. Your pet will rarely or never be left alone while he or she is our guest!

Jan was just awesome! She is, by far, the best that there is for dog care. Her home is immaculate and very peaceful. Both her home and back yard are very secure...security cameras all around. Big back yard with tall wooden fence surrounding it. Lush green grass for dogs to play and run in. Very nice neighborhood as well. Jan sent us photos every day. Was always quick to respond to texts when we inquired about our boy. She took all of the stress out of having to travel without our pup. We knew beyond a doubt that he was safe and sound while we were gone. That's a priceless! We cannot recommend Jan highly enough.

We have flexible schedules to allow for ample time with your pet. If they ride well in the car, we can sometimes take them with us.

Our large fenced yard keeps the kids safe and they are always monitored outside. Inside, they are free to roam in most of the rooms.
A typical day
PLEASE NOTE: All initial Meet & Greets will be in a public setting for safety reasons. While I understand the owner's concern in seeing where their furkid(s) will be staying, I am happy to send photos in addition to the ones already on my profile. In addition, I may be caring for a pet that does not do well with other dogs and I have to take that into consideration. Thank you for understanding. The following statement no longer applies as I’m only accepting one family at a time and have adjusted my rates accordingly. [In addition, I am happy to take one family at a time if need be, if your dog(s) don't do well with others or for any reason. However, there may be an overlap of up to a day/night where I will have to just keep some fur kids separated. An extra charge of $20 per night, per dog will be added on for this service at the time of booking.] I believe this no longer applies: [Finally, Rover charges by the night, while I charge for a 24-hour period. If a stay is planned to go over, I will adjust the rate accordingly.]

- NOTE: Please be sure your pet is up to date on all pertinent vaccines and flea and tick preventative. Please bring records with you for the stay. Please fill out detailed care information for your pet so that I can keep them on their schedule as much as possible, which will reduce any stress for them. Some things that I would love to know are as follows: 1) Where does your dog sleep? 2) How much and how many times/day does your dog eat? 3) Is your dog ever crated/kenneled? If so, when? 4) What do you do with your dog when left alone? 4) Does your dog get along with other dogs?
