As a part-time worker and nursing student, I’ve built a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care. Caring for animals is not only a great balance to my busy routine it’s something I genuinely love. Whether it’s early morning walks, afternoon check-ins, or weekend stays, I make sure each pet gets the attention and care they need. My background in nursing also helps me stay calm, detail-oriented, and attentive to each pet’s health and behavior.

Safety, trust & environment

In my client’s home, I aim to keep pets comfortable by following their usual routine as closely as possible. I make sure they get plenty of love, exercise, and attention whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, or just relaxing together. I’m respectful of your space and always leave it clean and tidy. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment where they can feel safe and relaxed. I limit the number of pets I care for at once to ensure each one gets personalized attention. I keep a consistent schedule, maintain a clean space, and give pets lots of affection and enrichment throughout the day.

Information Jamilett C. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for any pet, I like to know their daily routine, personality, and any medical or behavioral needs. It's helpful to learn things like: Feeding schedule and dietary restrictions Favorite activities or toys How they do on walks (leash behavior, reactivity, etc.) Any fears or anxieties (like loud noises or being alone) Health concerns or medications How they interact with other pets or people The more I know up front, the better I can make them feel safe, happy, and at ease while you’re away.

A typical day

I love keeping pets active and happy! Depending on their energy level and preferences, we might go on neighborhood walks, play fetch in the yard, enjoy tug-of-war, or try some basic training games for mental stimulation. For senior pets or more relaxed companions, I always tailor activities to each pet’s personality and needs—making sure they feel loved, engaged, and right at home.

Pet care experience

I treat every dog like family. With experience in both puppy training and senior dog care, I understand the unique needs of dogs at every life stage. Whether its providing gentle, attentive care to older dogs with mobility or medication needs, I bring patience, love, and reliability to every visit. I'm also comfortable with administering meds, following special diets, and offering enrichment activities to keep dogs happy and healthy while you're away.
