Ready to spoil your fur babies!
I have been fortunate to have owned pets my whole life, whether it be taking in strays or adopting. I can't imagine life without my fur babies! I am more than happy to be your pets home away from home while you are away, all while providing a fun and safe environment. I know from experience how hard it is to leave your pets behind, for that reason I am honored to take your babies in and ensure they are loved on and having fun to make the separation less painful! My husband is a local fireman and gone a lot, so I am more than happy to have extra furry company! I do have a lot of experience with many different personality types -for example consoling anxious pets. I have given oral medication as well as injections, and am more than happy to go that extra mile to ensure your pet is comfortable here with us.

This was our first experience with Rover.com and can happily say we look forward to the next opportunity. Jamie was very accommodating, caring, communicative and flexible in her care for our sensitive, high anxiety diabetic Little Buddy. She sent pictures throughout the stay and made us feel extremely comfortable that Little Buddy blended so well with her family and dogs. We would highly recommend Jamie to others to care for their pet.
I couldn’t have been more comfortable with Jamie, from the initial messaging and questions, meeting her in her lovely home, and all the amazing updates and photos left us wishing our dog could spend more time with Jamie and her family. I am very grateful how understanding and caring she was when Angus was having some tummy troubles upon our meeting, I felt she accepted Angus for the doggo he is. Jamie is obviously very experienced and popular as well; the other dogs in her care are regulars and very happy. It was clear she adored every single one individually. I highly recommend Jamie for your pet needs.
My pup had a great time with Jamie and her daughter and pups while I was at a wedding for a weekend. He got in the car and immediately passed out. She sent me lots of cute pictures of my dog falling in love with her daughter. Would book again if we lived in the area!
Jamie was wonderful. She treated our sweet boy like family and took great care of him!
Jamie is an awesome person who loves taking care of animals. Our Annie dog is 15 and diabetic, she gets two insulin shots every and Jamie did a great job. I was worried that Annie might be too much to handle, but Jamie's wonderful care proved me wrong. I would recommend her for anyone that needs their pet taken care of. Thank you Jamie for taking such good care of our Annie girl.
Happy had a wonderful time! Fenced backyard for running around and lots of play! Frequent updates, communication and level of care from Jamie is unmatched!

Schedule
I have endless amounts of time to care for your fur babies! I am a stay at home mama, so you can expect your pet to have company for the entire duration of their stay with us here, unless discussed (if I have to leave for an appt etc), with that being said it’s important to host a pet who is comfortable with children:) Each stay is customized to a pets every need. Your fur baby will have complete freedom to roam my home as they please (just like their at your home), with constant supervision of course to promote safety. I do not crate pets, all animals are together 100% of the time so it’s important for me to board friendly/social pups! I try my best to be flexible with drop off/pick up times to make your life as easy as possible, but will have to work around my kiddos nap times/sleep as well.

Our country home has a fenced backyard with plenty of space to play, we are currently redoing our front yard and will soon have a fenced front yard as well! My home is located 4 minutes away from the Oakdale Veterinary Group, also conveniently located nearby highway 108. I have two fur babies of my own who are super friendly and eager to share their space with another pet! My boy Brixton is a six year old chocolate lab, and my girl Shylo is a three year old Border Collie mix. Both are fixed and up to date with their shots. I think of my pets as my kids honestly, so you can expect your pet to receive the same love and attention, pets are allowed on all furniture! Our home is stocked with endless amounts of toys, dog beds to share, and all natural bones/treats so there's plenty to go around (with your approval of course). I also prefer to feed pets in separate areas to prevent any food thieves, more so to make sure all pets are comfortable and have their own space. Your trust is incredibly important to me so a meet and greet prior to your pets stay with us here is very beneficial, giving us the opportunity to get to know each other and for you to feel comfortable knowing that your pet is in good hands!

A typical day
To keep your pets happily stimulated during their mini vacation with us I like to keep them as entertained as possible! My dogs are huge fans of fetch so a fetch session multiple times a day can be expected. During hot summer days we bring out a splash pad for pups to cool down and get a chance to play in the water, I also like to use lick mats that are not only a mentally stimulating activity, but they also support good oral health! (Filled with all natural peanut butter, mashed fruits, etc) If your pup is comfortable walking alongside a stroller, I’m happy to take your pup for a walk. We live on an opened country road, where walks are very peaceful and secluded.
